This is actually a decent lighter, but it's not a jet torch and the finish is nowhere near as good as the pictures in the description. Good: It's lights easily, is a fun little novelty design, and does not impart any bad flavors. Bad: It's hard to adjust the flame unless you carry a small screwdriver, it is not a jet flame, and the finish is mediocre. Overall: It's not bad for the money, but unless you are just dying to light your cigar with a tiny gold bar, you can probably find a better all around lighter. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This is a novelty lighter and I think the price is commensurate with the lighter. For me, this is a five star item. I'm removing two stars from the item to account for the totally inaccurate product description and description images. This is a soft flame lighter. This is not a jet torch lighter. My preference is soft flame over jet torch so again for me this is actually a happy circumstance. If you buy this expecting a jet torch, you will be disappointed. Personally, I like the lighter very much and I'm happy to add it into the novelty lighter collection. It works fine and fits the bill for being unique and different. Perhaps even a conversation starter. Comfortable to carry small, light, and slim. The square corners make the lighter uncomfortable when using it, but again this is more for novelty than daily use. The lighter ships in an ill-fitting tin box. The only way to fit the lighter into the plastic insert is upside down. What you see in my picture is what your gift recipient will see when they open the tin box. A little better insert design would be nice to showcase the printed side of the lighter when you open the tin. No butane fuel window on this lighter. The lighter weighed 42 grams before filling the tank and still weighed 42 grams after filling the tank. You'll need to keep this lighter topped up if you don't want to run out of fuel. All the above aside, I really like this lighter. I've never another like it and as I mentioned above I was pleasantly surprised to discover it was soft flame vs. jet torch. If you also prefer a soft flame lighter, pick this one up. Read more
