This little thing is solid as a rock in the build, material, strength of magnet and strength of the nano adhesive/suction clamp! Just holding this piece, you can tell it's rugged and constructed well. The extension arms have a lot of tension of them, so they move slowly but stay where you put it! The magnetic is very strong and I haven't had any issues on my back roads that are VERY bumpy and unpaved. I put it in my Corolla which has a bit of an arc to the dash top that's smooth but the way this is designed, it doesn't matter. The nano gel sticks quite well on it's own and then when you twist that bottom portion down, it really pulls it down to the dash and is solid!! I can pull my phone off and it doesn't even move or feel like it going to and I have to put a fair amount of pressure to release the magnet. I've been through a lot of car attachments and none of them have come close to this! My window one falls down in cold weather. The vent ones wreck the vents and the straight suction ones pop off randomly. I've been running this for a week over some rough roads and not one single issue! Very reliable and durable holder. And if you don’t have one, it comes with several rings to help. The suction on the bottom winds to tight or loosen. The mount can be adjusted up and down, just not out or in. I love where there are a lot of concrete roads, and they’re bumpy yet my phone stays in place with this mount. It works! I literally tried to shake my new phone off it like a fool 🤪 Thankfully it stayed on. I like that it’s small (nano) It bothered me having a 8-10” phone holder on my dash. And I wasn’t even driving! My granddaughter was and I told her if she liked it she could use it in her car.
