I love my new cot!! I purchased it hoping it would work for me when we travel. I’m 5’ 2” and weigh 140 lbs. It is so easy to carry in its little travel bag. I can easily place it in my carry on or checked baggage or just carry it as my personal item when flying. I like to take it to our hotels and use it as a back up bed if my husband’s restlessness makes it difficult for me to sleep. It’s very sturdy, comfortable, well constructed and easy to assemble and take apart. I also use it for my 3 year old granddaughter’s “spaceship” bed when she comes to visit. I purchased a zip around cot cover separately (as she likes to wander during nap time) and strapped it on top. She could stand up and walk around inside, but it kept her safely in the cot until her parents would go to get her up. Her Daddy dubbed it her “spaceship” bed (it did resemble a rocket) and that vanquished all her possible fears of sleeping in a new room & bed and made it fun for her!! I also left the legs off the cot so it was only a few inches off the floor, and if she did roll off it was no big deal. I’m glad it has attachable legs for me or it would be very hard to get in or out of it. All in all, it was a great purchase and has multiple uses. I highly recommend this product. Read more
I slept on this cot for two months and it remained strong. A (separate) cot mattress is essential for maximum comfort. I'm in my 60's, 5'6", 135 lbs, and had a severe back injury a few years ago. This item supported me with no back discomfort and maintained its form without sagging the entire two months. Very easy to disassemble and repack. Assembly does take a little positioning to pop in the legs. Another reviewer mentioned needing muscle, but I found turning on its side worked best. The adjustable-height legs make this equipment suitable for car camping or home use. I recommend a waterproof zippered cot mattress cover to keep bedding fresh. (Purchased separately.) Read more

I have only put it together once and tested briefly by lying on it and trying to take a nap...which failed :-) so instead I'm writing a review. I like the small packed size and bag they came in. They are relatively light too though definitely for car camping not backpacking. Assembly was quick and easy. As is typical with imported stuff on Amazon, the instructions are lazily done, but it doesn't really matter for something so simple. Slide the long bars into the sleeves down the side of the canvas, set the cross beams up so the holes to insert the legs face down. Open the lever lock on the one end of each cross beam, place them in the obvious spots where the material has a gap exposing the long side bars, then muscle the lever lock thing down until it clicks. Then either insert the extended legs if you want it high, or don't if you don't. Instructions refer to the lever lock/tightener device on the cross beams as an "adjustable wrench". It is neither a wrench nor is it adjustable as far as I can tell. One might think there was a way to adjust the tension so that it stretches the cot tighter, but I don't see how and the instructions certainly don't help in any way. I wish I could get just a bit more tightness. The tradeoff would be that locking the support beams would be more difficult as that last step, where you lock them, is what stretches the cot tight. I feel like it's going to get a little saggy with use but maybe not. My hope is that with a 2 person pad, we can use them in tandem as one bed. We shall see on that. The slight sag in the middle means the side bars may sit high and make it impossible or uncomfortable for two of us to really sleep together in them as one, but a nice pad may fix that. The stability certainly won't be an issue. I'm pleased with what I got for the price. It's not a perfect package but really pretty impressive for what I paid. After using this on several camping trips I can state that it keeps you off the ground but that is a given. The main outstanding feature of this product is how light and small it is so you can pack it in. In addition, it sets up fast, very fast. Read more
In my opinion this is a very good cot but the assembly directions are very bad. Three very important notations were missing in the instructions. The sleeve opening for the long bars barely slides over the bars. Initially, I believed the opening was accidentally sewn partially shut and the bars would never fit into the sleeves but after staring at the opening for awhile I decided to see if the bar could be forced through the opening hole and it worked out. Also the instructions should emphasize to leave the cloth tab at the sleeve opening outside the sleeve interior because if it accidentally gets pushed inside the sleeve, the bar can not be secured inside the sleeve and will start working itself out of the sleeve. You need to hold onto the tab to force the bar inside the sleeve to rest against that partially sewn shut opening. The most important information not given is how to utilize the clamp mechanism. The instructions say to secure the clamp on the middle crossbar 1st but fails to tell you to attach the non-clamp side of the middle crossbar to the longbar first before attaching the clamp side of the middle crossbar to the other longbar and that attaching the clamp to the longbar will require some serious force. The crossbar clamp steps need to be performed while the cot is lying on its top surface with the legs in the air. I believe most people eventually figure out the assembly but the initial frustration could be avoided if the instructions included the missing key information.
