I cannot give enough praise for these pillows... the quality of the stitching, the gusseted hem, the percentage of down, and the soft selection of feathers are all something you'd expect in a pillow three times as expensive as this. I can't believe how affordable these were, and I'm already looking forward to buying more of them. I've always had difficulty falling asleep, partially because I'm a hot sleeper, and I've wasted so much money on "cooling" pillows that have shredded memory foam, cooling gel, down alternatives, etc. that were all stiff, unbreathable, and hot. I finally realized I had to stop buying cheap pillows, and get a genuine feather pillow instead (and saved so much more money in the end). But there are so many fake/scam feather pillows out there -- with 30% feathers or less, 1-3% down, made up mostly of synthetic filler material that will only absorb heat -- so picking the right one was a challenge. I'm so glad I went with this pair of queen-sized genuine feather pillows by Taslon. This last week has been the most comfortable my head has felt in 10 years. Mind you, feather pillows aren't for everyone. They're made up of light natural feathers, so if you need something firm with a lot of neck or head support, these won't help. After reading every review listed about this pillow. I decided that It would be the right one to purchase. But I don't just read the positive reviews. After weeks of reading more than 1000 reviews of other pillows on Amazon's pillow site. I will take a few sentences to explain why I chose this one. I started by reading every single critical review of every "down/feather" pillow . And there are dozens of pillows listed. Like probably many others I have purchased quite a few pillows from major retail stores and street fairs and discount stores. Rarely paying more than $25. for any one pillow. And usually after a period of time, realizing, I get what I pay for. Not much. So this pillow was a step up , price wise. And so far, I'm very optimistic. I followed the Mfg. instructions to the letter. Airing it out for 2 days on a sunny windowsill. It fluffed up just as the pix and their description show. ALL my previous feather/ down pillows disappointed me Sometimes, within minutes of put a pillow case and resting my head on them. THESE pillows are very different from any purchase I've made before them. If you air them out, the down smell ( which is barely noticeable), disappears. NO sound of crunchy feathers. The media could not be loaded. I am picky about my sleep environment. VERY picky. I was quite hesitant to buy a pillow without being able to touch and feel it, but I figured with Prime/Amazon, worst case scenario I'd return it. Zero regrets.... These are great value. There are cheaper pillows, and more expensive ones, but these are an excellent balance of cost and quality. It's the 1997 Nokia phone of feather pillows. The casing is solid. The innards are effective and technically sound. These pillows will last longer than you. These are on the softer side of a pillow ~ but for a down/feather pillow they are medium resistance/support. They are well constructed with a firmer core and fluffy outer fill of down. It's like resting your face on a bird. A very fluffy, supportive but yielding bird. There are also some reviews about the pillows not fitting in a case properly (? whuck?). So, I took the brand new king pillow and shoved it in a new king sized silk pillowcase~ that's the video. It fit snugly, as I would expect for a new featherpillow. So, some previous reviews mention a negative odor. I have a fussy nose and did not detect any funky odor, nor any "covering" perfumes. Smelled like a clean, natural pillow. Literally just smelled like cotton. The instructions suggest letting it open in the sun, but I received these amidst a frickin' monsoon in the US midwest. So I left them in a light-receiving window. They expanded from the vacuum sealed shipping and fluffed up just fine. I'd pay about 90$/ea for these in a shop, so quite happy with the price point I bought these at (biggo discount from that on Prime Day for the pair). Read more

I was wary of buying another feather pillow online because my past experiences have been disappointing. Based on the reviews I ordered these for my daughter to use. She loves them! She says are fluffy and soft but compress enough to be comfortable for sleeping. And unlike other pillows we've had that flatten and stay flat, these fluff back up again when you get up. They come in a nice zippered bag and a box much smaller than you would expect. It recommends putting them in the sun for a few hours when you get them but since it was raining here I put them in the dryer for a few minutes, as others have suggested, and they fluffed up beautifully! I ordered these pillows because I wanted soft-down pillows to sleep on. These pillows say they are down but they certainly don't act like it. They are very heavy for their size, they lay very flat and resemble a bag of cement. They don't fluff. I am returning them and warning everyone to skip buying these. Read more
