Excellent Quality and warmth

Men’s Large - fit perfectly- male 6’ and 200lbs. I read mixed reviews. This winter in NY was/is a great test. Plowed 16” of snow in 20’. Perfectly warm and they did not get sweaty! I also was cleaning the blades of my snowblower, ( be careful), and hit some sharp edges… no rips or damage! Great gloves Read more

High Quality feel and materials, warmer than cheap gloves but may not be the warmest.

This review is for the Gordini Gore-Tex Gauntlet Gloves model 4G1029 in XL size, color black. The product listing may not show it, but these appear to be Gordini's mid-warmth grade gloves. Going down from a sunshine to snowflake icon on the product tag, the lightest ("Lifestyle") category lists "dog walking," "snow shovelling," and "snow shoeing". The middle category ("Alpine Resort" where these gloves are designated) is for "cross-country skiing," "snowboarding," and "skiing". The warmest category ("Mountain Outdoor") is for "backcountry skiing," "snowmobiling", and "mountaineering". I have always worn gloves that sell for $15 and under, and these are by far the nicest and warmest gloves I have ever had. The construction seems solid and composed of quality materials on the outside, and they are comfortable and noticeably warmer than less expensive gloves. I did try these on at a local sporting goods store along with some other gloves in a $30 - 50 price range and I left thinking that these were clearly a cut above the others. These may not be the warmest gloves that Gordini makes. I wore them for snowblowing and at about 0 degrees F my fingers felt cold after about 20 minutes. However, these were warm and comfortable for driving inside of a cold car when it was -5 degrees F outside. I do wish that they were warmer and that we could get a sense of how many g of insulation and what kind of insulation they have, but I still really like them. But if you are looking for the warmest gloves possible you will probably need to conduct more research and keep looking, possibly in higher price ranges and possibly at battery-powered heated gloves which are likely expensive for good quality. Great product

They arrived just in time for this last snow storm. They kept my hands nice and toasty warm. Had an exact pair that lasted me over 10 years. Hope these will last as long. Read more

Waterproof, warm, and comfy

These gloves are completely waterproof, and kept my hands very warm. I was removing an ice dam from my roof, my hands never got wet and stayed warm. Even when I was removing ice from the gutter, my hand went directly into icy cold water. Read more

Not the same gloves asa few years ago.

The media could not be loaded. I bought a pair of the same gloves over 3 years ago. They were great I do abuse my gloves so I do prefer leather on the fingers at minimum for maximum durability. I bought these gloves because they used to have leather fingertips and they are advertised as having leather fingertips. BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE LEATHER ANYMORE AND ARE THIN SYNTHETIC MATERIAL. The description needs to change. Also both sets of gloves the old and the new are large but the old large gloves are physically a half inch longer on the fingers than the old, in the palm is wider. I'm guessing that the extra large is comparable to the old leather versions large size. Hopefully they will make adjustments in the future. Read more
