These pants were a little different that I expected. I ordered the beige ones, and they are mainly beige but the stripes are red and blue so they would be perfect for 4th of july! The waistband has elastic in it so it stretches but only to a certain extent and if you have wider hips or thighs, it may be a little bit more difficult to get on and off even though they are loose fitting. I would like to see a higher quality elastic in the waistband so they hug your waist better and get over the curves easier, basically make it more curvy girl friendly. Otherwise, they are not see through which is a huge plus bc they have a lining that is basically a short slip. They reminded me of pajama pants when I first tried them on but they are a bit dressier than that so I will still wear them as a teacher and be comfy! Read more

Amazon recommended a medium and I normally wear a size small. It is supposed to be oversized and it is. I think it would look better on me if I had gotten my normal size. Overall, good for casual day. I am 5”5 and the length is perfect for me. If you are taller then it will probably will be short for you. I had gotten the beige stripes and it has a sewn in short so it is not see through. It would have been better if it had pockets. Overall I am happy with the pants! Read more
