This is probably best floor mat I have ever owned! It is definitely the most heavy-duty one! I have it on a medium-high pile carpet and get very little flex with it. The chair rolls easily and doesn't get "stuck" after sitting there for extended periods. I greatly appreciate the flat shipping after fighting with other mats trying to flatten them out. We'll have to see how the long-term reliability is but this will be my go-to replacement mat for others as they break for now. Read more

This is a HUGE upgrade from my old mat that split into two 🙃. One thing that I love about this mat is that is was delivered flat and not rolled up like other mats. It lies flat on the floor and my chair rolls smoothly on it. It is slightly on the heavier side, but I would rather that over a cheap and flimsy one. It grips nice to the rug and doesn't move as often as my other one did. I have noticed about a half an inch shift once placed over two weeks of use, but apart from that it doesn't go anywhere. This product is more on the pricier side, but I guess you get what you pay for. It did not have a noticeable odor when it arrived. Overall, it is a great carpet mat for an office chair. Great grip, good quality, sturdy, slides well... I would definitely recommend. 8/10 🏆 Quick update: I have been using this for over a month and still love it. However, after a week or two, there is noticeable sliding on my carpet. I already had to reposition it 3 times within the last month, which is a bit annoying. I updated the rating from 5 stars to 4 stars to give a more accurate review. Although this is just a minor inconvenience that is solved in under a minute, I would still recommend it. I recently bought the Gorilla Grip Office Chair Mat for my carpeted home office, and it's been a solid addition to my setup. First off, the size is perfect for my desk area. The 48x36 dimension gives me plenty of space to move my chair around without worrying about hitting the edge of the mat. One of the best things about this mat is how well it grips the carpet. This mat was an exact fit for the area it was needed. It stays put on my carpet and my chair runs smoothly...a bit too smoothly at times because the mat is a bit slippery. Not slippery to walk on but slippery for the chair wheels. The only thing you should know if you've never had this type of mat is that the plastic spikes that go into the carpet can be a bit hard to handle when you take the mat out of the box and lay it down on the floor. Used this for a month or so. It works well even on my high pile, thick carpeting that was just installed. However a few issues 1. The stickers started peeling off while I used it so I decided to peel them off and the residue is a pain to get off. 2. There is already some stress wear on the mat (almost like a discolored stretch mark). I am about 240 and it's thick carpet. I can see those being the issue causing me to slightly sinking into the mat. But I had a previous floor mat that had no issues for years.
