Gorilla tape is superior to most duct tapes. The adhesive is tackier and I believe a little thicker, the backing is stouter, it actually has fibers or cloth combined with a weatherproof outer shell. I have used it for years, it hasn't failed me. I do like the mini duct tape due to its compact size. You can have a roll almost anywhere. Read more
Love the 1" tape with nice clean edges. Solid adhesive, sticks and holds most things I use it on. Definitely will continue to use Gorilla Tape over any others I have found. Read more

Have always been a fan of of Gorilla products and their tape. This delivers again! PROS: - Love the size. It is super helpful for my car emergency kit and also with my camping gear. - Strong hold! Does exactly what you need it to do! CONS: - Not a 'con' per se but trying to remove it is tough. I mean, that is kind of the point! It leaves a sticky mess behind. Read more
I have purchased many rolls of this tape for a specific purpose and love it. I have a 50-foot flower bed in the front of my house that extends across a portion of my driveway. Although I have outdoor lights at the front door and motion detector lights near the garage, there was not enough light at night. In fact, one friend backed her car into the retaining wall holding up the flower bed (oops!). I felt guilty about that, so I went on a mission to create more light in my driveway at night. I purchased 62 WdtPro solar lights (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TYH2DTP/) so that I could place them FLAT on the bricks of the retaining wall (I didn't use the spikes they came with because they are intended for soil or grass). I cut the Gorilla tape into four one-inch pieces for EACH light and and securely placed the tape on the bottom of each (the tape is two-sided and waterproof). I placed one solar light on alternating bricks all along the retaining well, plus eight at my front door -- four on each side -- a half dozen near another retaining wall by the garage, and four vertically on the mailbox post at the end of the driveway. TIP: I learned when using Gorilla tape on bricks that it is important to brush any dust off with a sturdy brush so the tape adheres better. I live in the Pacific Northwest, and it rains often and unpredictably here. It also occasionally (every 2-3 years) snows here. The tape is such great quality that all of the solar lights have stayed in place throughout heavy rains and one seven-inch snowstorm last year. What is really amazing is that the Gorilla tape used on the four lights on the vertical mailbox post where the lights are sitting sideways has not come loose, nor have the lights fallen down. My driveway is now very well lit up. I took pictures but can't find them; when I do, I will update this review. After my positive experience with the Gorilla tape and solar lights in the front of the house, I did the same thing on my deck in the backyard, and they are spaced every other plank. This product is exceptional in every respect, and the claim about being waterproof is 100% true.. Read more
This is probably the best made duct tape I have ever seen. Strong durable cloth. Extremely aggressive and thick adhesive. When you want a duct tape that means business, this is a great choice. Read more
