After 5 mountain bike rides, totaling almost 7 hours of ride time, I'm impressed. The Bikevee BKV-310 wasn't difficult to set up and mine has acquired GPS quickly and worked well. The included handlebar mount has gripped it firmly through plenty of rough riding. It has backlighting and tracks speed (including average and max speed), distance, elevation, and ride time (both trip and total). Battery life is WAY more impressive than my old Garmin Edge 150: I had almost 7 hours of ride time, spread over a couple of weeks, before the Bikevee's battery-charge indicator dropped from 5 bars to 4 bars, so plenty of charge left. It does not have a lot of advanced features (does NOT connect to Bluetooth or phone, provide map info, connect to heart-rate monitors, etc.), but it's only a fraction of the price of computers that do all that. Five stars because it works as advertised. I would give it 6 or 7 stars if it had a compass function too. I mean, why not? It has a GPS already. How difficult is it to compute the bearing from the last two GPS location samples? Oh well. It works well as is. They've packed a lot of functionality into this inexpensive device. Read more
I was generally pleased with this device, no wires, no magnet to install. When compared to my Garmin watch the distance and speed were very close. I liked the large display and the setup was easy. What I did not like: It takes a LONG time to acquire a satellite, sometimes 1/2 mile to get registered The display always shows the altitude...really, who cares The display always shows the time in military format, how about using civilian time I wish you could configure what defaults on the main display. Overall, I like it and it seems to work properly, now to see if it lasts, maybe even when I get caught in the rain. Read more

This is an amazing good product that’s been way better than I expected especially for this price. It’s very easy to set up and “install.” The “rubber band”mount has been sturdy even over rough roads on my e-bike. (That mount works better than traditional rigid handle bar mounts for me because my handle bars are not perfectly round.) There’s no wiring to install. It connected to GPS satellites within a minute on first use, and much after that. Using it is a pleasure. The readout is large and clear and very accurate. The controls are simple and logical. And, at least on mine, it reads out elevation in feet when set to distance in miles, as it should. (A previous complaint.) My only small gripe: I wish I the clock could be set to read out in 12-hour format. Overall, I just love this little gadget! Read more

Works good, the trip distance seems more accurate than the bike (e-bike) controller. The elevation doesn't track amount of climbing, it just says what the elevation is at the location. Read more
