This is my first pair of pants from Grace Karin, and I'm thrilled that they fit as well as all their other clothing. I discovered this brand last year, and I've loved everything I've received from them. They have great designs, fit, and high-quality fabrics. They are one of my favorite brands. The fabric of these pants is wonderful. It is silky soft, non-stretchy, and has a medium-weight weave. It only has a little bit of linen in the composition (84%Viscose,12%Polyamide,4%Linen), but they feel like a true, high-quality linen blend. They have a beautiful drape, and they are really comfortable. This is the type of fabric that needs to be ironed or steamed. The fit is true to size, order according to their size chart. I currently wear size 12, and the large is a perfect fit in my waist, hips, and legs. They are long on me and need to be altered, but I am petite at 5ft 2", so this is expected. The legs are straight, and they have nice movement when I walk. The back pockets are not real; they are just for looks. I love the straight leg design, and also the front pockets. They are deep, and they are stitched to be visible at the front. I ordered these in navy blue, and it's a really nice, deep blue color, exactly what I was hoping for. At the time of this review, the pants are $30.99, but there is a coupon for $21.69 at the moment. Honestly, these are such a good value, even at $30.99. These pants fit and feel like pants that are much more expensive, and they look really nice on. I recommend these pants, and I like them enough that I've put another pair in black in my cart. They are a really nice basic dress pant, and they will work great for the office or for dressing up. Read more
These pants are very well made and honestly really cute on. The fit is flattering, the wide leg hangs nicely, and the pockets are practical without adding bulk. From a quality and construction standpoint, they feel solid and thoughtfully designed. Where I struggled was the fabric. Although these are marketed as linen pants, the material is smooth, tightly woven, and fairly heavy in person — not textured or airy like traditional linen. With only 4% linen in the blend, they wear more like a structured trouser than a lightweight summer pant. I live in Arizona, and there’s no way I could comfortably wear these in the summer heat. That said, they wash beautifully. I washed them on delicate and dried on low heat, and they came out looking great. I will absolutely wear them — just in cooler weather rather than summer. If you’re looking for a polished, heavier pant for fall or winter, these are a great option. If you’re specifically shopping for a breezy linen summer pant, this may not meet that expectation. These pants are soft and comfortable and very nicely made, with attention to details in the construction, including hanging loops inside. They are not exceptionally wide legged. "Apricot" seems to be the new name for light beige; I've never seen an apricot that color but that's okay. These will go with a variety of tops and sweaters as it's a very neutral color. I'm 5'5" and have crept up to around 160 pounds. I ordered these in size L and they are just a little snug. They'll probably be perfect if I lose a few pounds and it's hard to say if an XL would have been better or just too big. Right out of the package they seemed way too long, but they were just the right length when I put them on. I found the seller's description a little amusing--it mentions the qualities of linen several times, including the fact that linen wrinkles easily and how to care for that. Yet at the top, it shows that these are only 4% linen. It's mostly viscose (rayon), and then polyamide (probably nylon). The viscose is what makes them so soft. And they really do have a nice linen look. But it also wrinkles like crazy. That's the tradeoff for the softness. A small detail--those aren't full back pockets. They're fake pockets. They look nice but you can't put anything in them. That's okay. I don't need back pockets. I'll enjoy wearing them. Read more
