Super cute cardigan. Was worried it would be too big but it is just the right size and in small. 5’4” and 100lbs. Great versatility it can be dressed up or dressed down. Looks great with a skirt or a pair of black jeans. Medium weight good for fall and winter. Haven’t washed it yet so don’t know about pilling though it doesn’t look like it will. When it arrived it was slightly wrinkly but some of them have already called out and I plan on taking it to the dry cleaners to get pressed anyway. I used to buy similar sweaters at an upscale store, that now only carries cheap, thin knock-offs of the heavier ones they used to carry. This sweater is nice and thick and solid, without being too heavy. I would describe it as luxurious. It’s soft, well-constructed, and the colors are true to the photo. I wear a 10, slowly working back into an 8. I ordered medium, and it fits, but slightly snug without gapping. I wear this style open, with a pencil-skirt dresses, but like to know it looks nice if I DO button it. If I wasn’t part-way back into an 8, I think I’d be happier with a Large. Gorgeous!!! Excellent Quality...This sweater has a good thickness to it and is comfortably soft..it's not itchy like some argyles tend to be. I was hesitant to spend the money figured I could find something similar at the discount stores. This is of Macy Bloomingdale quality..Not only are the tags attached with. Silk ribbon and not plastic tabs they sent a thank you card . Very classy. Very good quality. Good length both sleeves and body. Very soft. I am sometimes a medium in tops and sometimes large. I was suggested “large would fit me best”. Yes a large fit me perfectly as far as “ form fitting”. I am still able to wear a undershirt(tshirt). I am 5’7” 150lb pounds, and long torso. If your looking for loose fit go up a size, or two. I bought this sweater because I loved the argyle patterns. I was originally going to buy one (red) but was impulsive and bought 2 (black/grey). I was pleasantly surprised by the heaviness of the sweater- I thought it was going to be much lighter. They are lovely and look well made BUT, they are not true to size (for me). I'm 5'3", 120 lbs and bought medium, which is my true size (in fact I sometimes have to get small for certain things). Both sweaters were very tight, where the front is kind of puckered and gaps between the buttons. I look like a sausage stuffed into a small casing! I had checked the sizing guide which put me in a small-medium category. Then I laid them out on my bed, with one sweater over the other and the black sweater was noticeably smaller than the red one. They're both a medium, so not impressed with the consistency of the sizing. I was considering returning but I've gotten burned on that before by Amazon where I wasn't refunded after sending back my product. I'm trying to wash them and stretch them out while they're wet but I'm not pleased. These aren't cheap sweaters where you hope to get one season out of them.
