These pants are a little soft and a bit scratchy at the same time. The material is good quality. I like the drawstring. However, they don’t fit like the picture (way too short on me). The waist runs tight, so I recommend sizing up a size or two, especially with them being short. I ordered large and normally wear medium. The large was still a bit snug! Not the right option for me. These are great flowy summer pants that have a great look and feel. I think they run true to size I’m 5’6 and 230 pounds and the XL fit me well, including the length. They have a non-functional drawstring but the waist is very stretchy. I love that they have deep pocket which is great for the summer since I don’t like to carry a bag at the breach etc. The only design feature I’m I. The fence about is there is like a seam around the top of the leg opening. It’s not related to the pockets so I think it’s there to create more of a slimming effect at the top of the pant and then allow for the legs to flow and bellow out a bit more. I like it but if you have thicker upper legs you may find it a bit restrictive or uncomfortable. Not a deal breaker but something to consider. Read more
For reference, I’m 5’2”, around 170 lbs, with 46” hips and ordered a L size. The fit on the waist and hips is great thanks to the elastic waistband. The fabric is lightweight and breathable. They feel soft on the skin and I also appreciate the side pockets, which are actually usable for small essentials like a phone or keys. One small downside is that the fabric wrinkles easily. I really like these. I've worn them all day, mostly sitting and they haven't lost shape. They wrinkle less than I expected, with the exception of when I took them out of the package. I ran them through a low dryer cycle with some wet laundry and it fixed that. I'm a size 14 and the Large fits well. The crotch hangs a tiny bit lower than I'd prefer, but it looks fine. The drawstring is totally fake though, and I will probably cut it off because it doesn't stay tied. The pockets fit my phone and don't swing around awkwardly either. I would consider getting a second pair in another color. Read more
