Works for small chips. Use the charging cord that comes with it.
This kit worked pretty good repairing a few small chips on my granite countertop. One thing to note... when I first got the kit, I plugged the UV light into one of my chargers overnight. Come to find out that you have to use the cable that comes with it. You'll know if it's charging if it turns red, and then it will turn green when fully charged. I took one star off because I ran out of polishing compound way before I ran out of filler. I didn't think I was using that much and wish the kit had more. I also had issues with the filler sticking to the leveling tape, so as I removed the tape after curing it with the light, the filled would pull out of the chip. It didn't seem to matter how carefully I tried to remove it, so I ended up just filling it slightly higher than the surface and then sanding it down to level. It was more work to do it that way, but it gave me the solid fill that I wanted. Other than that, it did what I hoped it would. Yes, it does look a little bit silver at certain angles as the light bounces off the clear surface of the filler. However, I can see similar spots in the factory finish on this countertop that I didn't touch that looks the same. Overall, I feel like I got good value for my money. The counter is fixed, and I didn't have to pay a pro to do the work for me. Yay! Read more
Must have for granite countertops!
Used this on the granite in front of our sink which seemed to be chipping away. Cool proof and dried quickly. This was inexpensive, easy to use and has held up well for the last 6 months. Would buy again! Read more

Does a GREAT job!
I put some chips on the edge of my granite kitchen sink when I tried to clean the cast-iron grates on the top of my stove. The grates were much bigger than my sink, that they overlapped the edge by a few inches. At the time, I was new to caring for granite kitchen tops, so I didn’t think to put anything on the sink to protect the granite top. When I moved the grate around, it was so big, heavy and cumbersome, that it left quite a few chips in the granite. It stayed that way for a few years, then I saw a YouTube review of this product and purchased it. It worked so well, I wished I had known about it sooner! Now, I’m a huge fan, and would use this for any granite or marble repair, with no worries! Read more

There are better solutions
I watched videos, followed instructions to the tee. This is a great concept, however it needs a lot of improvement. Every time I carefully lifted the taped after curing, it lifted the epoxy out. I finally stopped using the tape. I cured it twice with the blue light and left it overnight. It does fill the chip and that was my main goal since I was afraid it would get bigger, but it doesn't stay put with the tape. Read more
