This heating pad is excellent! I have RA and the gentle warmth of this heating pad is most welcome. I love that it heats up in just seconds and is very easy to change heat and time settings on their controller. It fits really nicely, but I have to turn the collar section down to fit the pad comfortably on my shoulders. The snap closure keeps it in place and is easy to use, also. There is no smell or odor to it, and the cord length is very good as well. I am hoping that this brand lasts longer than the one I bought before from my local drug store - only time will tell. This heating pad is a game changer over my flat, plastic-y thinly covered square one. My issues needing heat are primarily my neck and shoulders and thanks to a colleague, I was told there were heating pads that conform to this shape to tackle the whole of your neck and shoulders easily. She was right! This item seems like very good quality. It’s nicely weighted to stay in place, the velvet/like material very soft, and the snaps help to perfectly position it on my body. The pad heats up very quickly and has a thorough deep warmth. The only less than positive feedback I have is the heat itself. I know I’m not tolerant of direct contact with high heat (hot tubs and hot foods challenged me more than most), but setting 1 is more than enough heat for me. In fact, sometimes it is borderline too much. The product description says it ranges from 108 to 144 degrees, so I must be talking about the 108. I’ve clicked up once to experience level 2 but I will not be trying 6 (144 deg) for fear of pain. I’ve ready professionals don’t recommend heat for injuries much above 113 so I feel like those higher settings may be overkill. I would love to have another setting one or two clicks below the current “1”, but this isn’t enough of a complaint for me to return it and try anything else. Using this strictly on 1 is fine by me. If you’re looking for a heating pad targeting your neck, shoulders and upper back get this one! It’s the perfect size! It hugs your neck and sits on your shoulders very nicely. I like to just fold over the top instead of using the snap. I can get it tighter around my neck that way. It heats up FAST and has ceramic beads in it that help retain the heat. There are 6 levels of heat, has a timer you can set from a half hour to 2 hours and will automatically shut off. Read more
