I set this up in a garage simulator build, and the gray screen made a noticeable difference compared to the standard white one I used before. The gray material really helps with contrast. In a naturally lit garage, white screens can look washed out. This one deepens blacks and makes colors pop more, especially when projecting fairways and sky. It also hides dust marks better, which is a real plus in a working garage space. The 3D air mesh design does a good job absorbing impact. It handles full swings without that sharp, echoing slap you sometimes get with thinner screens. Noise reduction is noticeable. It’s not silent, but it’s significantly quieter, which matters if you’re practicing at night or don’t want to shake the whole house. The fabric feels thick and durable. The reinforced edges and stainless steel grommets look well built. Setup is straightforward with the included bungee cords. Once tensioned properly, the screen stays flat and rebounds the ball consistently. It’s rated to handle high-speed shots, and so far it’s held up well. No visible wear after repeated sessions. The flame-retardant feature is also reassuring for indoor setups with projectors and electronics nearby. Overall, this is a the perfect size and a strong option for a home golf simulator. Good projection clarity, solid durability, and improved noise control. If you’re building a garage or basement setup and want better contrast without going commercial-level expensive, this is a smart upgrade. It’s definitely worth getting. Read more
I haven’t fully installed this impact screen yet since I’m still waiting on the rest of my simulator components, but first impressions out of the box are very solid. The fabric feels thick and high quality — honestly comparable to some of the top-tier screens I’ve seen in higher-end setups. The stitching and reinforced edges look clean and durable, and the grommets feel sturdy enough to handle tension without worrying about tearing. I have a 10x10 hitting cage and the fit when I sized it up will be perfect. The assembly instructions look pretty straight forward as well. The gray material is a big selling point for me. It has that professional look and should help with contrast and image clarity, especially in spaces that aren’t pitch black. The thickness is noticeable, and you can tell it’s built to absorb impact and cut down on noise. The flame-retardant design is also a nice bonus for peace of mind, especially in a garage or basement setup. For $199.99 for a 9.8 x 9.8 ft screen, this feels like a really strong value to fit any golfers budget. A near 10x10 impact screen at that price point that feels this substantial is hard to beat. If performance matches the build quality once it’s installed, I’ll be extremely happy with this purchase. So far, first impressions are definitely 5-star worthy. Read more

This is literally just a tarp, it doesn't have any of the other aspects of the Golf simulation included with it. However, at this price point, it does work well as a target and is very sturdy. I am just disappointed because I thought it was going to include more elements of a golf simulator impact screen. Read more
This impact screen is a great fit for a home golf simulator setup. The size provides solid coverage for practice, and the projected image looks more immersive once tensioned properly. The material feels durable, with consistent ball “catch” and rebound, and it keeps noise at a reasonable level for indoor sessions. Grommet holes and bungee cords make mounting straightforward, and even tension helps the screen sit flatter for a cleaner picture. The gray color is practical for day-to-day use and storage is easy when needed. For best results, leave a bit of slack and adequate rear clearance so higher ball speeds still feel safe and controlled. Overall, it’s a reliable, simulator-ready screen for regular practice. Gray Flame-Retardant 3D Mesh Golf Impact Screen with HD Projection Initial Review (Specifications & Design): This screen is defined by its gray, low-reflectivity fabric designed to enhance projector contrast in ambient light, and certified flame-retardant construction—a safety and performance combination not found on all basic impact screens. The 3D air mesh is rated to withstand 200 mph ball speeds, includes reinforced edges, and comes with grommets and bungee cords. This assessment is based on material safety and optical properties. I will update after frame mounting and simulator use, evaluating image clarity, noise dampening, durability against repeated strikes, and long-term material integrity. Read more
