So pretty! I love the seams and the material is SO soft, it reached my ankles and I’m 5’5. However, there is a lot of stretch in the material so it shows every lump and bump. I will be wearing a body shaper or full slip under this. The sleeves were a little long but I always have that problem. Manufacturer, please make this dress with 3/4 sleeves! My favorite thing about it is the high neck, I struggle to find comfortable well made dresses that don’t have a gaping wide low cut neck, just because I am chunky it doesn’t mean my head is three feet in diameter, I don’t need that big of a hole to get my head through! For reference, I am 5’9”, size 6 (small or medium in most things I order), 143lbs, and I have an athletic/petite frame. My inseam is 35 inches, so yes, I have longer legs than most. That said, this dress did not disappoint! I dropped everything as soon as it was delivered and tried it on. The material is so soft, the sleeve length is perfect, the length is perfect where I can wear nice dress boots with heels and you can see those. I would say the dress comes down to my shins is exactly what I wanted! I ordered the brown dress and the black one which is due to arrive at a later date. The material, while soft, is strong, it is firm fitting, made of good quality, and can be dressed up or dressed down depending on your personal style and event you’re going to. I really wanted to like this dress. The color was perfect. The fit was good for me. What made me send it back, though, was the bulge from the pockets. It's a knit dress with fairly thin material that clings to you - but it wasn't too tight and would have been nice except there was no way to avoid the bulge from the (empty) pockets which were right at the lower hip. Very unsightly! Other comments- I suspect those who commented in other reviews that the material is poor quality and not sturdy might be right, but I didn't keep it. Also, the name is a bit wrong- it's a long sleeve knit dress, not really a sweater dress at least in the way I think of sweater dresses. Read more
