I purchased the GreenJoy Aquarium Fish Tank Cleaning Kit, which includes a variety of tools and a gravel cleaner, for the maintenance of my fish tank. While the kit is generally useful, there are a couple of aspects that didn’t quite meet my expectations. Firstly, the positives: The kit is comprehensive and covers most of the basic needs for aquarium cleaning. The gravel cleaner works well, making the task of changing water and cleaning the gravel much more manageable. The different tools included in the set, like the plant fork and fishing net, are handy and easy to use. However, I’ve encountered some issues with the durability and effectiveness of certain tools. The scrubber, designed to clean the interior of the aquarium, began to show signs of wear after several uses. The material seems to stretch out and wear down, diminishing its cleaning effectiveness over time. This was a bit disappointing as I had to apply more effort to remove algae and residue. Speaking of algae removal, the algae scraper included in the kit didn’t perform as well as I had hoped. While it did remove some algae, it struggled with tougher spots, requiring multiple passes and extra force. This made the cleaning process more time-consuming and less efficient than I would have liked. Despite these drawbacks, the overall convenience of having multiple tools in one kit is a plus, especially for new aquarium owners who might not know what all they need. I primarily bought this set for the "rake" attachment, to help maintain our tanks that have sand substrate. And for that purpose it is worth it :) . The additional accessories will be useful I am sure. The siphon works very well , has a few features our old simple one doesn't, the bulb starts flow easily and has a ball valve to stop or throttle flow. I added a length of 1/2 inch tubing to the free end of the bulb ( pushed right on , no adapter needed ) so it is as long as I want. The gravel horn can be removed , leaving the wand on , this allows you to work in the nooks and crannies or in small tanks. overall this was a great value and I am very pleased Read more

Love this item for the price. It comes with all attachments and easy to use. I use the vacuum gravel to suck out water and also replace water when it evaporates in my saltwater aquarium. Plastic feel a little cheap and brittle so be careful not to force the attachment onto the plastic stick and also hose onto the big end vacuum part as I cracked it a bit but not enough to mess up suction.
