Wow! I'm in love. I've only used this twice but it's amazing. Light weight. Easy to clean. Size is fantastic. I can sauté on the stove and move it to my base unit. I made a double batch of chicken soup and it was cooked through with no issue. I sautéed the onions, carrots and celery on the stove and moved it to the base. It heats quickly, so the lid was steamy in no time. The size is wonderful for double batches. The nice thing is that whole unit is a bit smaller than my 6 quart crock pot. I'm pretty thrilled with this purchase. The only extra I would want is to be able to sauté on the unit itself. I look forward to using this in years to come. Read more

My thoughts on the GreenPan slower cooker

I guess it's an OK crock pot. Positive points are it cooks well and it is light weight. Bad points are : the lid is very big and awkward to handle, and after cooking, the pot keeps the smell of the last dish cooked, even when using crock pot liners! The smell stays until the next use. I was very disappointed, as I have the complete set of Green Pans, and love them! Read more
