Silk as a base layer is the best! Silk is so lightweight you forget you’re wearing it because it feels like your own skin. The quality of this set is obvious and the color is rich! When you add a layer of cotton over the silk you have created a pocket of warmth by trapping your own body heat between the layers. If another layer is added wool or cotton then we are talking about snug as a bug in a little ol’ rug ! The silk has moisture wicking properties that keep your skin dry. So very cozy! These are soft and soooo comfortable. And they feel invisible under my clothes- even thin leggings. They wash beautifully. My only regret is not trying and buying them sooner . These were a quality silk long john that I could depend on to order when needed, confident that I knew what I would be getting, but I'm now very disappointed. I have been ordering size large, which fit perfectly, for years, but all of a sudden with my recent order, the large is HUGE. The body fits like an XXL, with the length being at least three to four inches longer, and sleeves at least two or three inches longer then all previous orders of the same size. If this was my first purchase, I would just assume that they run large and I need to order smaller, but this is about the 6th or 7th pair I have ordered over the years. All of them size large. Now I have to return and hope that ordering a small or medium will fit better? If you're going to change your sizing, let your customers know. I have reordered, but now it will be 3 weeks (!) before they arrive. So I'm doing what most anyone else would do. Look for another vendor and stop ordering from Grenasilk. Read more
