I don’t use this screen oatch for mending screens but for covering the weep holes on my brick. It has great adhesion to my brick so it will definitely stick to your windows screen.in the past, I had been using a none adhesive screen mender and using “Shoe Goo” I bought on Amazon to stick the screen oatch over my weep holes. It’s held up great. But they discontinued that brand so I tried this brand of screen patch that already has adhesive. So if for some reason the adhesion doesn’t last on this self adhesive screenpatch then I can put some shoe glue around the edges. I cover my weep holes because in Texas those big tree roaches use your weep holes as doors to get into your house. Covering the weep holes with screen oatch still lets your house breath yet It has made a noticeable difference as well. We don’t have but an occasional now and then cockroach get into our house. Surprisingly durable
I wasn't sure what to expect from this product. A significant percentage of things I buy on Amazon turn out to be pretty mediocre. But this tape has been great. It was easy to use. The mesh quality is as fine as the screen that I used it to repair. And, most importantly, it has survived the hot summer and a lot of stormy rainy weather this winter. It's raining hard right now with very strong winds, and I was quite surprised to see how well it's still holding up.
