This fits perfectly in my nightstand as it's not very big. It's extremely easy to open and I love how there is a light once you do open it as well. It seems sturdy, safe and was very easy to set up. Overall I'm really satisfied with the purchase. I can't speak to the battery life yet. Read more

This is a good piece of gear. Holds a 6 shot revolver or semi easily. Do note the dimensions as I am sure large "hand-cannons" won't be a good fit. The Cable prevents a snatch and grab. Metal rather than plastic, so thieves can't easily beat it apart. Opens easily with a pop open lid, no need to pull it apart like some. Lid lifts easily when it separates. The USB cable power the key pad if the batteries die, it will NOT recharge batteries in the unit. Uses only NON-rechargeable batteries which is not a particular issue for me personally as they have provided the USB cable for emergency. Read more

This lock box is solid and appears to be well made. It works great for my needs. The only draw back I found is the securing cable. It is too short in my estimate. It would be more useful if it was about 18 inches or more longer. Read more

I actually ordered two of these boxes as I have multiple cars. The keypad works perfectly with no hiccups. Very easy to program and easy to use. There is an option to mute the sound as well (it's a loud beep otherwise). The key's are for the box they came with only. As in, one key wont open all boxes from this manufacturer. The cable works great and the firearm stays put inside the box without shaking around. The way it utilizes its cable is one of the main things that caught my eye. I have another box from a different manufacturer and I have to screw that one in and out every time I want to remove the box. This box, you open the box, and the cable simply comes out and attaches just as easily. Space is great for my M&P 9 Shield Plus along with two magazines. You can fit a bigger firearm easily however most Kydex holsters are likely too bulky to fit. Not an issue for me as the firearm is what I need to be in there safely to be California Compliant. I simply toss the holster in the trunk next to the box. The contents are sandwiched in nicely and nothing shifts around inside while you carry the box around. Read more
