These can be used for tattoo machines and medical bandages. They are the same thing as vet wrap. They are self-adhesive and sticks to itself well. It stays stuck to itself for a long period of time. My dog hurt her leg and I had to use this to keep the ointment on the leg. I applied the ointment, then a gauze, and then this wrap. It stuck tightly and never lost its grip or loosened up. It seems that now they are marketing these self-adhesive bandages as a tattoo bandage but they can be used for other medical or non-medical reasons. They have a multitude of uses. There are 24 single-color (I ordered blue) rolls that are individually wrapped and each roll is almost 5 yards apiece. These self-adhere as the bandage is wrapped around a hand, leg, arm, etc. The stretch allows this to be used like kinesiology tape with the exception that one cannot shower with this successfully and each wrap is for one-time use. The entire roll does not have to be used at once as it depends on the amount needed. When used where joints open and close, such as a knee or elbow, the wrap may bunch up in the crease as expected. However, this is perfect to use as a lightweight version of a carpal tunnel brace by wrapping it around a bad wrist, hand, and thumb as I did in the photo. It does not stick to my skin nor to a pet's fur, which is wonderful. I tried this around my hand and it does stick lightly as it is supposed to. This is versatile enough to wrap around the handle of a tennis racquet to get a good grip or an umbrella or cane handle. There are just so many useful possibilities besides medical reasons. In summary, because the wrap is only two inches wide and is not designed to stick to the skin, it does have a tendency to bunch up if wrapped around a knee or elbow, so it is not perfect for everything. However, I feel this is an excellent bandage to have in one's medicine cabinet. At the current price of $23.74 ($24.99 minus 5%) comes to $.99 cents per roll which is competitively priced. I ordered the 24 pack in jungle camo. The rolls are inpaxked neatly in a box that can be used for storage. Each roll comes individually wrapped. This is a great value pack. This "tattoo grip tape" is the same cohesive wrap sold for medical use. It's commonly used for holding gauze in place or supporting joints, but it has many other uses as well. It great stuff to have on hand. Cohesive wrap is great because the material sticks to itself with no kind of stick residue, clips, or tape needed. It can be unwound and re-wound a few times if you need to tighten or loosen the wrap, but with repeated sticking/unsticking, it will start to crumple up and stop adhearing to itself as effectively. This cohesive wrap is great quality and works just as well as the other wraps I've owned,. This one is camo though, so of course it gets more cool points than the solid color wraps. Great product! I actually used this for something different. I recently broke my finger and need to keep it wrapped while it heals. I use this tape to wrap it.
