We bought the GROWIT Folding Camping Saw to tackle the nasty spikes and thicker branches on our lemon tree, and it worked really well for the job. The SK5 blade is sharp and cuts cleanly, and the triple cut teeth make it powerful enough to get through tougher areas without much struggle. This works surprisingly well on small to medium size trunks. My 10 year old loves this for trimming branches or cutting down small trees in our yard. Very portable and easy to use. Super sharp blade, locking handle (both closed, mid, and fully open). It's BIG, more than a foot long when closed, but relatively narrow. It'll easily fit into a backpack or bug out bag and feels very solid. The handle uses grippy injection molded rubber and plastic and gives you a solid grip.
