I unfortunately did not care for the scent. I thought it would be more citrus/fresh smelling or based on the scent description, a mix of citrus/floral/woodsy scent. In reality, it was old citrus mixed with heavy herbal and a moderate musky scent to me. It did not smell fresh or what I would think to describe as "reviving". Just didn't get the relaxing shower experience I envisioned. It did make my skin feel soft and the gel created a decent lather considering it is sulfate free. The skin did feel cleansed after and the scent was pretty much completely gone as soon as I rinsed, which I guess is a good thing in my case, but I typically prefer the scent to stay on the skin after a shower. I'm obsessed with how good this body wash smells, its mainly citrus notes but with earthy herbal undertones, it's not overpowering and a doesn't linger after using which was a little bummer but the experience using it has been great. I find it to be a gender neutral scent. I paired it with a natural loofah sponge and it works great lathering and exfoliating that way. I've very sensitive skin and have experienced zero skin irritation or breakouts using this, and I also LOVE that the listing clarifies it's a vegan product! I'm grateful to have the opportunity to try this product out but with the listing price it's unlikely I could afford to get it at value again. Read more

So I’m not gonna lie, it took a little while for the scent to grow on me. After using it for a few full body washes, I have to admit my skin is super clean, super soft and feels actually clean after using it. Grown Alchemist Revive Body Cleanser offers a luxurious and effective shower experience for both men and women. This body wash has a satisfyingly rich consistency that's not too thin, it doesn't slip though my fingers and wash away down the drain like many other liquid soap and body wash products I've used. It rinses off quickly and completely. I can also appreciate Grown Alchemist's commitment to using all natural plant-based ingredients.
