We have many Squatty Potties and children's little steps in the house. I potty trained two kids and used what we had. Great potty seat! It’s so easy to use & pull on and off the toilet. Stable when my daughter is on it and turning around. Feet don’t go flat to the floor for our main toilet so the step part is at a slight slant but it hasn’t hindered use or stability at all. She is able to pick the ladder part up/down messing around with it while she’s sitting there but it stays sturdy on the toilet when she puts her head all the way down the step part, doesn’t push forward tipping or dumping her off. Win for not falling no matter how wiggly she gets! Super easy to put together and cute! Also easy to wipe down, clean and store. Buy it, you’ll be happy with it! I bought 2 of these seats, one for my house and one for my daughters. We absolutely love them! Easily assembled, very sturdy and seems to be very comfortable for my Autistic Granddaughter with a sensory disorder! My granddaughter feared a toilet equipped with an ordinary potty seat, so I positioned the assembled seat on the couch until she was comfortable stepping up to the seat! She loved it immediately! A few hours of play, then off to the bathroom! I love how easily it folds for storage and hardly takes up any room! My only concern prior to ordering this product was within the photo they advertise with. Seeing that picture of the lower seat in an upward position behind the child's back just concerned me! But not to worry, you can place this training seat right over the existing seat! This seat is very adjustable in height, works on tall and normal toilets, nothing wiggles or jiggles no matter the surface! Read more

The seat was easy to put together, however there were no instructions included for the Velcro pieces. FYI, You use them to attach the cushion to the seat. Overall the seat is nice and sturdy, however it’s a little big for my daughter (she’s almost 2, but she’s petite). Since the cushion only covers 3/4 of the seat, she’s mainly sitting on the hard plastic that’s in the front. She says ouch after sitting for a few minutes, since her bottom is kind of pinched between the plastic and cushion. The handles are nice and I like that she has a step for her feet to rest on. So far, I’m still happy with the purchase, though I wish it was a little smaller since it’s purpose is for small bottoms. Read more

Money well spent. This toilet training seat is perfect for my 2 year old. The step is wide enough where she has sufficient room to stand up on it with ease to reach the toilet seat. It was easy enough to put together although I had made an error and installed the step part backwards. Still once I realized the mistake, easy fix. This product is very sturdy. My daughter is a daredevil and likes to jump off everything including the step area of this product. She does this constantly after her potty and no broken bones, bruises and or incidents. The toilet trainer doesn't shake or wobble when she does this so yay! All in all, money well spent and very happy with product. Would def recommend. Such a good tool to help your toddler be more independent with going to the bathroom. I got my seat after my kid got the hang of potty training, but this makes it so much easier for him to go without having to wait for me. I still help with wiping at this point but other then that, it’s all him. I often recommend this to friends and family. It’s easy to clean and fold up when adults need to use the toilet. It does tend to get a little loose over time, but all it takes is a little key (that comes with it) to tighten the side screws and it’s good to go. It doesn’t appear to come with a place to store the key though, so I just tape it on the bottom step so I can always find it. Works really well. This was a great seat for my daughter to learn to use the potty. She can get up on it herself very easily and it fits her perfectly even though she is very small for her age. I bought a second one for my parents house! The only thing I would say is to consider having a bath mat or something underneath because it can be a tiny bit less stable for a wobbly toddler if its on a more slippery surface. So far my daughter has not had any problems with stability but its just something I noticed at my parents house without a mat versus at home where I have a bath mat underneath.
