I bought 4 different brands of snow bibs (this brand, high experience, obermeyer and Verta) all in an XL. Women's snow gear tends to run small, I wanted a pair of bibs I could wear a few layers of clothing under if necessary for warmth. I am short and curvy/chubby, I wear and 4-8 in old navy/gap depending on the style and material and a 7/28 in so " goods for life" low rise jeans. These are meant to wear over your boot, there is a zipper at the cuff,Fleece lined, stretchy material, not as much extra room as the obermeyer, a lot better than the high experience brand. The seams on this one did not look as well made as the obermeyer or the verta but they were a bit thicker material. I kept these as well as the verta brand skinny style. I wore them sledding with my kids. I was warm and dry and able to move, which is helpful when you crash and roll down a giant snow covered hill! I could probably have gotten a large but I do like having extra space for an extra layer on a colder day. Read more
