This Guermok 5‑in‑1 USB‑C hub has been absolutely flawless with everything I’ve thrown at it. I use it with my HTPC, my Switch 1, Switch OLED, Switch 2, and multiple iPads, and it has handled every device without a single hiccup. For something this compact, the amount of functionality it delivers is genuinely impressive. Using it with my iPads has been especially useful. I can connect an external display, use a mouse and keyboard, and even switch between screen mirroring and extended display modes. File transfers work perfectly too—plug in a storage drive and it shows up instantly in the Files app, ready for uploads or downloads. The same smooth experience carries over to my MacBook, where everything works plug‑and‑play with no setup required. What surprised me most is how efficiently it manages power. Even though it has a dedicated PD port, it was still able to draw enough power from my tablet alone to run a small external monitor. That kind of flexibility makes it ideal for travel, coffee‑shop work, or quick setups on the go. Build quality is excellent. The silver finish looks premium, the body feels solid, and the hub stays cool even during long sessions. The only minor note is the short rubber‑sheathed cable, but since this mostly lives on a desk or travels in a bag, it’s not a real drawback. The HDMI output is rock‑solid. On my Switch 2, the 4K@60Hz output to my TV is crisp and stable with zero lag or handshake issues. It’s honestly a night‑and‑day improvement over carrying the bulky official dock. Just update the Switch 2 to firmware 21.2.0 or higher and it works immediately. The port layout is smart and practical. The two USB‑A 3.0 ports handle my wireless keyboard and mouse dongles without any interference. The USB‑C data port connects my SSD for fast transfers, and the 100W PD passthrough keeps my laptop charged while everything else runs through the hub. Even the 5.1 surround sound support through HDMI was a pleasant surprise—games and streaming sound richer and more immersive. Setup couldn’t be easier. Plug it in and it just works. No drivers, no configuration, no fuss. Overall, this is a compact, powerful, and incredibly reliable USB‑C hub that punches way above its size. Whether I’m gaming, working, or traveling, it delivers exactly what I need every time. Read more
I was skeptical that a $24.99 hub could genuinely replace the official Nintendo Switch 2 dock while also functioning as a capable laptop hub for daily work use. After several weeks of putting it through its paces in both roles I can say without reservation that this little Guermok hub has earned a permanent spot on my desk and in my travel bag. The Switch 2 TV dock functionality works flawlessly. 4K@60Hz output to my living room TV is crisp, clean, and immediate — no lag, no handshake issues, no fussing with settings. The whole setup is dramatically more compact than the official dock, which matters both at home where desk space is precious and especially when traveling. Tossing this hub in a bag versus packing the original dock is not even a close comparison. Just make sure your Switch 2 is updated to firmware 21.2.0 or higher and you're good to go right out of the box. The 5-in-1 port layout is genuinely well thought out for real-world use. The two USB-A 3.0 ports at 5Gbps handle a wireless keyboard and mouse dongle simultaneously without any performance hit, the USB-C data port connects an external SSD for fast file transfers, and the PD 3.0 port keeps my laptop charged at 100W while everything else runs through the hub. That's four things happening simultaneously through a single USB-C connection to my laptop, which is exactly the kind of setup that used to require a much bulkier and more expensive dock. The 5.1 surround sound support through HDMI is a bonus I didn't expect to appreciate as much as I do. Running audio through my TV's sound system while gaming sounds noticeably richer and more immersive than what I was getting before, and switching between gaming and streaming content the audio just works without any configuration. The silver finish looks premium and matches my MacBook beautifully. Build quality feels solid — no flex, no wobble at the connection point, no heat issues during extended sessions. Plug and play means zero driver installation, which is exactly how it should be. For Switch 2 owners, laptop users, or anyone looking to simplify a multi-device setup without spending a fortune, this hub is a remarkable value. One of the best impulse purchases I've made this year. Read more

I ordered this USB-C hub for my laptop... and it seems to work without issue. It allows expansion of my USB ports as well as a monitor connection for my non-USB-C monitors. I most use it for external storage or a network adapter, so it is handy to carry one in my laptop bag. I also tested it on one of our mini-PCs and it worked well there as well, though I would prefer better resolution/refresh support as most USB-C display interfaces support better. I am rating this hub four stars as it does the job, it is inexpensive, and it is small enough to travel. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary... Read more
