LOVE this handy little tuner! It is a pleasure to use, very easy to read, toggles through various stringed instruments, and "remembers" the last instrument setting. Makes it easy for beginners to keep their ukes in tune, which of course encourages them to play and practice more. I tested it out on a soprano uke with brand new strings - for more than a week I was "breaking in" the new strings (playing the uke, tuning, re-tuning, etc.), using this little clip on tuner. I tested it's accuracy alongside keyboard tuning and a more expensive clip on tuner - this little tuner was spot on, every time. Gave this one to my granddaughter, who is learning the uke. But I may buy another for myself - just to have as a backup. One caveat: the little button on the front that you depress to turn it on/off or toggle thru instruments - if you shove the tuner in your gig bag, the button will depress at the lightest pressure and drain the battery. So put it in the little box it came in before putting in gig bag, or devise some other way to store it so that it won't be accidentally drained. Read more

Disappointed, it kept reading two of the strings out of tune when it was in tune. I know this because I put on another tuner and it said it was in tune and then I double checked it with my phone guitar tuner and it also said the two strings was in tune and as an experienced guitar player I knew the two strings were also in tune yet the tuner said they were not in tune and I bought this for my 10 year old nephew and we struggled to get this tuner to recognized that the string was in tune. After days of turning it on and off I realized that sometimes it would recognized it in tune and then other days it did not. My conclusion: faulty item at best! Read more
