These were recommended by my periodontist and my dentist. They work well to remove larger food particles that get stuff between the teeth near the gumline - something particularly true with fibrous foods. It is necessary to use these narrow brushes where teeth are close together, and therein lies the problem. The narrow brushes are on a thin wire core that is easily bent. Once it bends it is toast and cannot be used. I would strongly suggest that the manufacturer consider a flexible plastic core instead of a wire. The core needs to be flexible enough so that it will spring back if it bends. I suppose that the manufacturer plans to sell more by making them more rapidly disposable, but they are doing no favors for consumers. So, you should only buy these if you have some money to burn and are willing to buy multiple replacements. Read more
