This is a nice design that incorporates the best features of two popular on-the-go dental products, and combines them into one tool that’s different than anything else on the market. Here’s a basic pros and cons list. I’ll break these down throughout the rest of my review, but here’s the TLDR: PROS - Individually wrapped; small size makes them convenient to take to work or add to lunch box - Toothpaste gel tastes good and isn’t overpowering - Brush bristles are very soft yet incredibly effective - Brush and floss in one tool CONS - Floss is too thin and not waxy; gets snagged between teeth easily - Price is a little high - Name (Butter on Gums) is awkward Each one is individually wrapped to preserve the toothpaste coating the bristles. It’s more like a clear gel the brush has been dipped in than actual toothpaste, but the effect is the same. The bristles are soft - really soft - but still somehow highly effective. It’s so comfortable to use that I kind of wish my regular toothbrush at home felt this good. The toothpaste is mild and pleasant, and definitely doesn’t overpower or overwhelm, and yet it provides lasting freshness. The whole thing comes apart at the seam where the colorful section meets the white section, to reveal a toothpick. I’m ashamed to admit I initially didn’t realize this, and wrote an entire review based around this product not having a toothpick. It was the one feature I missed, and I’m happy to have realized it’s been included all along. There’s a flosser hoop on the end, opposite the brush, and it’s easily the weakest part of this design. Not weak as in it breaks easily, but weak as in they should’ve devoted more time to making this part better. Honestly, it feels like flossing with a loose thread pulled from my shirt, but much stronger. It’s uncomfortable and sharp, and I’m not sure how well it actually works. I would much rather have ribbon floss or pro-glide instead of this thin, round, floss-string stuff they went with. It’s also very durable, which should be a good thing, but honestly, it felt like it was going to pull my teeth out every time it would get stuck (which was every time). Lastly, I’m not a fan of the name. “Butter on the gums” sounds disgusting the more I think about it, and evokes the exact opposite feeling I want from a dental hygiene product. I understand where they’re coming from, but not everyone associates butter with hygiene (like with cocoa butter, shea butter, etc). Many, many people, myself included, associate butter with lard, or bread, or greasy, oily foods. It’s a name that needs work, that’s all I’m saying. Overall, while I think this is a great product for the most part, it’s a little pricey for something that lacks quality floss. The brush is super soft and incredibly nice to use, as well as being effective, and the toothpaste gel tastes great. The toothpick feature is genius, and the fact that it has a flosser is great. I just wish the floss were better. I still think it’s a great product, and I highly recommend it. Read more

I got these disposable toothbrushes mainly for travel and keeping in my work bag, and overall I’m pretty satisfied. The biggest plus is the convenience, everything is already included and individually wrapped, which makes it very hygienic and TSA friendly. The pre pasted butter on the bristles is surprisingly refreshing and gentle on the gums. I have somewhat sensitive gums, and the Softex bristles didn’t irritate them at all. I also like that it includes a floss pick, tongue cleaner, and toothpick, which makes it feel like a mini oral care kit rather than just a toothbrush. That said, this is definitely meant for quick cleanups, not a full replacement for brushing at home. The paste amount is limited, and while it freshens your mouth and removes surface buildup, it doesn’t give that deep clean feeling you get from a regular toothbrush and toothpaste. I recently ordered this GuruNanda 6-in-1 Ready-to-Go Disposable Toothbrush, Pre-Pasted Butter on Gums Softex Bristles, Floss & Toothpick, Tongue & Cheek Cleaner, Individually Wrapped & TSA Friendly, 21 Ct and the flossing and the pick works well and are pretty standard. The design and concept are ingenious with the brushes preloaded with the toothpaste. The bristles are extremely soft and comfortable, almost soothing! I was worried there wouldn’t be enough toothpaste, but there was and what I really liked about this style tall toothpaste was that it actually foamed adequately to give you that fresh feeling that is missing from some xylitol and non-fluoride toothpastes.
