Works for our needs
We don't actually use them on a gym wall so they are not really put to the test. I use them in my garage because I need to pull my car as close to the wall as possible to be able to close the garage door! These are perfect for keeping me from hitting the wall with my car! Read more

Only ONE Mat Included
This gym mat arrived quickly and well packaged. Based on the listing and photos I thought that this was a set of padded mats, but unfortunately it was not. THE LISTING IS FOR (1) 60” X 20” X 2” PADDED WALL MAT. The mat is made with a vinyl PVC exterior and high density foam that is ideal for absorbing high impacts. The mat is very well stitched as one solid piece that can be folded front sides inward. The (4) hook and loop velcro sections are professionally stitched to the mat and very well secured, showing no signs of stress or damage when removing from the corresponding velcro. Outside of wishing this was an entire section not just one mat, I do wish that this had the ability to fold either direction or more specifically with the velcro on the inside instead. Being that I had intended the pieces to be used with my daughter’s gymnastics equipment to prevent injury when landing, I don’t like that I can’t double it up because the velcro is exposed. The mat is very durable and softens the blow when falling/dropping from a balance beam, and it stays put due to the velcro. It is easy to clean up after use and I appreciate that it is waterproof. The price point is comparable to other high quality gym pads of a similar size. Overall, this is a durable wall pad that can be used in a variety of different ways to prevent injury whether its used indoors or outdoors, but I do wish that it was a little more clear that it only comes with one mat instead of a set like the main picture of the listing so that others who are just jumping into buying this type of item are not as shell shocked as I was when I opened the box. Would recommend, just buy more than one if you actually need multiple. Read more
