H Halston Womens One Button Front Pocket Woven Blazer

This blazer fits like designer clothes. It runs a smidge small in the bust/shoulder area for tall larger bust girls. I order the size 8 which is my average top size (usually size M in t shirts) and I found the jacket to be tight in my shoulders and bust. It fit my waist okay but, not my bust. I would defiantly recommend sizing up from your average size. It would also help if the listing included some level of a size chart or comparison to accurately order the corresponding size. (For reference I'm 5'11, 34H, and 165.) Moving beyond fit the blazer looks fantastic! The single style button looks good and is definitely functional for a more dressed up look (provided you size correctly). For my larger bust and the size I ordered it's not a blazer I can button and feel comfortable in. That being said I will say the length of this blazer is great! The sleeves are smidge short but, not so much so that it looks off. It can easily be dressed up with some heels, black pants and an evening or dress top. It can also be dressed dog with a wedge or casual heel with some jeans and a nice collared shirt or casual shirt. The quality of the blazer is fantastic! It was surprising that the blazer was shipped inside a plastic bag on a hanger which I don't typically see from amazon. That being said it was still folded in the box and shipped with another item yet somehow wasn't too wrinkly at all! The craftsmen ship of the blazer is wonderful! The blazer looks sharp and I can;'t find a single loose thread or imperfection. The button, fabric and stitching is all top notch and high quality! I will note the front pockets are purely decorative/cosmetic and not functional. I do also really enjoy the stylish subtle collar! I find the subtle collar easier to work with as well in terms of dressing both up and down. It's also dry clean only which I don't mind but, it's definitely something to keep in mind as well. Overall, this is a beautiful blazer! It does look great and has a beautiful style that easy to work with. My singular complaint is relatively to sizing. Would otherwise recommend! Read more

The quality of this blazer is fantastic, but who can possibly order something online and expect it to fit if there's no size chart? My Amazon recommended size is an 8, so that's what I ordered. The blazer is too snug through the shoulders, but it's much too big everywhere else! The sleeves are too long, and the whole middle of the jacket is big on my bust, waist, and hips. The shoulders don't look too small on my frame, but when I go to lift my arms, I it becomes apparent how tight they are. I'm afraid I might pop a seam if I hug someone. I am built very narrow through the middle with broad shoulders and long arms, but these sleeves are too long. I'm also not a huge fan of the style of this collar. It doesn't turn down at all, and it's not supposed to, but it looks like it's supposed to. The peaks of the collar also brush my cheek, so I'm afraid my makeup will transfer to the collar and ruin the garment. The price is also very, very steep for a blazer that doesn't fit properly and is made primarily from polyester. Yes, it's a blend, and it's not a terrible blend, but for the current listed price of around $140, I'd expect this piece to be a wool and silk blend. If not a higher quality fabric, then it should come as a set with skirt or pants. I almost didn't order this for review because of the high price point. The weight of the fabric is good for a nice blazer, and it is fully lined. Both of those speak to higher quality. It also came in a garment bag on a nice suit hanger, but there are still packing wrinkles to contend with. I will probably wear this as-is and not pay to have it altered. It looks really cute with my wide-leg jeans, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it matches my cream dress pants I already own. The baggy look is in, I guess, right? I was immediately drawn to the unique collar on the H Halston Womens One Button Front Pocket Blazer. The notched stand collar resembles an upturned collar, but so much sleeker and more flattering. The material is synthetic but looks "dressy" and it feels soft. The blazer is fully lined and is comfortable to wear. The fit is the tailored, classic style typical of one-button or single-breasted blazers. The length is just right for me (5'6"). The pockets and the vent at the back arrived lightly sewn shut, but they can easily be opened prior to wearing. It also comes with an extra large button and a smaller cuff button. The blazer arrived hung on a Halston branded, sturdy hanger wrapped in a basic plastic garment cover. My only complaints are: - The blazer is mostly true-to-size, but is slightly tight across the chest, even though the shoulder width is right. So the cut of this garment may be too fitted across the chest for certain women. - The material seems to wrinkle easily.
