A very sophisticated style. There’s some great detail in these pants which make them so stylish. They are comfortable and hug me in all the right places. I feel very confident when I wear these Halston pants. The fabric is linen so of course they wrinkle. This is part of the look of linen and it’s a tell tale sign that the fabric is real linen. It actually looks good on. These pants are light weight and perfect for spring, summer and autumn. I am tall, and so pants are hard. I ordered these in an 8, which is my normal size, and i am happy because they seem to run a little big, allowing me to wear these on my hips instead of my waist. The pants have a great straight cut that looks just a little slouchy when worn, and the linen blend fabric has a nice shape to it. The highlight are the buttons, lends a fun element. It does come with a replacement as well, so thats helpful. All the hardware seems well sewn on, the inner button and hooks are sturdy, which I often struggle to find in cheaper pants. These are nice quality pants. The linen fabric is more of a heavyweight linen fabric; they have a great hand and are comfortable to wear. I love the designer features, like the gold buttons at the top of the pants. This looks great when paired with a short top or something tucked in. The fit is true to size, but it is also slightly generous. I currently wear a size 12 or 14 in pants, depending on the brand. This is my first pair of Halston pants, so I chose a size 14, and they are actually a little bit loose on me, which is comfortable, but I'm actively losing weight, so in a couple of pounds, they will certainly be too big. I think for someone between sizes, sizing down will make sense. I am petite, 5ft 2" tall, and the length is a few inches longer than I can wear. This is expected and easily fixed. At the time of this review, the price is $98.08. This is in line with what I would expect to pay for a good quality brand like Halston, and the quality of the fabric, fit, and style of these pants. They are made to last, and the style and fit is classic and will always be in style. These pants are versatile enough to work for business or casual situations, depending on what they are paired with. I really wanted to love these pants because the material is soft, lightweight, and drapes nicely. The design is polished enough for work but still comfortable for everyday wear. Unfortunately, the sizing runs noticeably large. Even following the size chart, the pair I received was too loose in the waist and hips, and the wide-leg cut looked oversized rather than relaxed. If you like a roomy fit you may still enjoy them, but I would recommend sizing down at least one size. Overall, good quality but the inconsistent sizing made them less flattering than expected. For reference, I'm 5'6", ~175lbs, and typically wear a 10 or M/L depending on the brand (currently on a weight loss journey...). I ordered this in a 12 since I recently got a H Halston dress that was a bit tight in my normal size, so I sized up in the pants since I do carry a bit extra on my waist and these are too big. I think that these are true to size but on the larger side, so if you are between sizes, size down. Quality is excellent. Length is good. They are comfortable. These a nicer-quality, heavier linen pant. They do seem prone to wrinkles as with other heavier linen pants, but the black color obscures them. The gold button accent adds a splash of fun and makes them feel classier than you'd expect for normal linen pants. Fit was spot on. I'm 5'4"/5'5" 135-140, which gave me a recommended size of 6, and it fit perfectly. This is a straight leg but wider lack.
