I'm 5'5 and 134lbs for reference. I ordered this skort from Hafailia in a size medium and it fits great! I haven't worn a skort or skirt in so long that I wasn't sure what size to get but I'm so glad I went with the medium, as a small would have been way too short and tight. You can order your normal size or even a size up in these and be just fine. The material is made out of a blend of polyester and spandex. The material feels smooth, lightweight, breathable, and thin without being see through. The skort is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The shorts underneath the skirt are attached like any normal skort. The shorts are thin and have a tendency to ride up when I walk around. I find myself having to keep pulling them down, especially in the back. This doesn't bother me too much but I do wish they would stay in place a little bit better. I would highly recommend being extra careful when you bend over, because the shorts definitely ride up and expose a bit more skin than I'm comfortable with. The skirt part of the skorts hang down a bit lower in the front than the back. There is a silver ring that holds the skirt in a wrap around style. The ring feels to be made out of lightweight metal that feels solid and durable. There is also a long matching string attached to the ring that hangs down. The string looks a little weird hanging down and I didn't care for the way it felt rubbing against my legs randomly so I tied it in a little knot and it felt much more comfortable. The skorts have an elastic waistband that is comfortable and doesn't dig in my skin or cause any irritation. I make sure to position the waistband above my love handles because if the waistband is beneath them, it doesn't look as flattering. The skort is slim fit and hugs my body, making me feel confident when I wear it! The skort is quite short but not enough that I feel weird wearing it. I love leopard print and I'm in love with the pattern on this skort! There are plenty of other neutral color options that will go with just about anything. The black and tan colors compliment each other really well and the leopard spots have defined shapes. I like to wear a solid black top with this skort but a bodysuit would look great too. I would definitely handle the material with care because it's so thin it could easily be snagged or damaged. The stitching arrived in perfect condition and is holding up well after several washes. Don't put it in the dryer because it will just eat the material right up. With proper care it should last for a while. Overall, I'm quite happy with this skort! It's comfortable, breathable, and lightweight. The shorts are the only area that could be improved. If you're looking for a slim fit, short skort, these are a great option for the price! Read more

I absolutely love skorts. They look trendy and very functional. These are just like that! I ordered my usual size S, and they fit so perfectly!! The skort isn’t too short or long. This skirt was very comfortable to wear and extremely soft to the touch. I especially love the shorts underneath because it definitely is a mini. The string that hangs down off the O ring felt excessively long, so I chose to style it differently by looping and knotting it over a few times for a shorter length. There is an outer layer and an under layer making it a bit thicker. The top layer has a sheer news to it, but in total with all the layers and the shorts, it is not a see-through piece. There is some stretch to the fabric, I got it in a size S and felt very comfy with room to move and dance. This is an awesome mini skort! I’m normally not a mini skirt person. I’m a little past that age and after losing 160 pounds my thighs are horrendous. But… I’m a geriatric raver and I did have a tummy tuck so I still wanna look cute at shows and festivals. I generally just wear a little skirts with some small hole fishnets two mask the issue. And, skorts are also preferred for that extra level of comfort in what I’m wearing. This is a great skirt/skort. The fabric is super stretchy and comfortable. It seems to be very well-made. The shorts underneath are also very comfortable and they don’t write up at all. I really like the look with the asymmetrical mesh front and the silver metal buckle. It gives the skirt some depth without needing to add a belt and it also hides minor imperfections. I normally wear a US size 6 or a medium in my bottoms and a small for my tops. I have no idea why I ordered a small in this item. I probably should’ve ordered the medium. However, since it’s so stretchy, this size is not a problem and I’m not gonna bother to try to exchange it so I would say it fits true to size and there’s no need really to size up or down unless you want it super tight.
