These pants are just all around great! I purchased 3 total. 1 in brown and 2 in khaki. The only problem I have with them is the size. I fit into a 56x30 snugly, 58x30 fits just fine, however I like my pants to be loose fitting giving me some breathing room so I normally get pants 60x32 and wear a belt. I was expecting these pants to fit like all the other pants I get however they were HUGE! Laughably huge. LOL! Even with a belt I have to fold them over to get them to stay up. I washed them in HOT water and tumble dried on HIGH hoping they would shrink but alas they didn’t. Normally I would have returned them and got a smaller size however… They are the best feeling pants I have EVER worn. I can’t part with them even to exchange them for a smaller size. I was only purchasing them to wear out but they’ve become my everything pants. The material isn’t as thick as most of my Dockers I have, is just a tad rough but still on the soft side, and not stiff at all. Pros: * Price. I got 2 khaki color at $16.87 & 1 Brown at $27.67. Both on Prime. * Feel. Not thick or stiff and feels great. * Size. Both a Pro and a Con. Size seems bigger than other pants but that can be a plus. If you like pants on the roomy side, then get your normal size in these. Don’t do what I did and get a size bigger because they might be too big. * Shrinkage. There is none. Washed in hot water and a tumble dry on high and the pants are the exact same size even though I was hoping they would shrink a bit. Cons: * Size. Again, both a Pro and a Con. The size fits bigger than listed so get the size that ACTUALLY fits and they should be roomy enough for you. Conclusion: I would 100% buy these again (and will probably buy a few more) as well as recommend these to anyone thinking of purchasing. I’m very picky about material and I feel like I have found the perfect pants for me from now on. Read more
My local source for fat boy pants dried up recently. They have decided to go the route of Urban Thug Wear and no longer carry nice (or even cruddy) men's slacks. Purchasing dress pants sight unseen is an open invitation to frustration, but these were priced so well that I decided to give them a try. I first purchased a pair that were 58x32 and they dragged the ground a bit in the back. No problem. These have no cuff, so having them altered will be easy and inexpensive. Then I bought this pair of 58x30 that I am reviewing here. They are a tad too short for me. (I have a rather awkward 31" inseam that has plagued my pants-buying life since I was 15 years old and very skinny. Poor me, heh, heh, heh...) These cannot be made any longer, but they are close enough for me. They dry a little bit wrinkled but then hang out overnight pretty well. They are well made, too. The fabric is less shiny and slick looking compared to normal "cheapo" poly pants; they do not approach the look of wool or cotton at all, but still look fairly decent and hang well. My only reason for not giving them 5 stars is that they catch lint and cat hair like nothing I have ever seen before. I am a musician, and by the time I arrive at the gig I have to tape roll my dang pants. My car is clean, too, so this was an irritating discovery. However, the fit and price make it a 100% certainty that I will buy a few more pair of these slacks. Easy care, a decent fit for the more rotund boys such as myself, and at a really great price. Stop worrying about buying these online. Buy a pair. They are inexpensive. They fit pretty much as they say they will. They have elastic inserts on the waistband on each side so they self adjust in fit. If you hate them give them to Goodwill or the Salvation Army; it's not like you will be out all that much if this does not work out for you. If you like them you now have a source for some very cheap, decent looking pants in a cut that fits you more like clothing and less like a tent. Read more
These are the most comfortable pants I've bought in a long while. They hang nicely, the expandable waistband makes dressing easy and the material is soft and light. These are not for cold weather as wind goes right through them but that is not a concern for me. I think the waistband will expand about two inches. There is a single button closure and a zipeer fly. The inseam has plenty of room and although I usually wear a 29" inseam, these ended up being about 2" inches too long in the cuff so I had them hemmed. I'd much rather have them long than short! In every way from price to comfot and quality, these are great trousers. Read more
Six years ago I purchased these slacks for my husband. He is a manager in a full service restaurant and so his clothing is subjected to various substances mostly food, grease and grime. The pants wash beautifully and hold the crease nicely. Due to the fact my husband had been splashed with cleaning solvents, I had to replace some. After six years these pants still looked new! The pants are comfortable and cool (according to my husband) and he wanted to purchase the same slacks. Previously the purchase was made from a department store on-line, but they were no longer available. My good fortune was to find them through Amazon and I was pleasantly surprised that they were less expensive, were delivered in two days vs two weeks...Yay! Read more
Pants were as expected. Single button in front, and although I'd prefer a second button (french fly), the button fits pretty well, so should be fine. I'm being picky, but as a big guy, I'd prefer the belt loops in front to be closer to the fly, and have a couple of extra belt loops that what is there. But my belt fits fine, and there's not a lot of "slip" (the belt either rising to far up or down) in the front. Overall, well pleased. The fabric is light-weight, so a little cooler in winter, but for the south-Texas summer, will be welcome! UPDATE: Had to send the first pair back; the zipper kept separating. The replacement process with Amazon worked as expected. I sent back my old pants, and the new pants got shipped out to me. So far, no issues with the zipper. Still love the pants! Read more
