I work in a professional business casual office and these pants are the best I have. I have actually ordered several pairs in different colors and the quality, size and fit is consistent in each pair. What originally drew me to these pants was the expandable waist. I have an "in-between" waist size: 32" is too tight and 34" is too loose. Trying to find a 33" waist is next to impossible. I went with the 32" waist with these pants, hoping the expandable waist would give me the extra room I needed. Perfect. I ended up with great fitting pants that still have flexibility and room in the waist for great comfort. I keep checking back hoping the light grey ones come available in my size. These pants look great with a button shirt, with or without a tie, and with or without a jacket. Match your belt and shoes and these pants do the rest. They wash well, resist wrinkles and are very comfortable. After every few washes, I dry clean them to keep the creases nice and sharp, and these pants do hold a crease well. I think you'll be happy with these pants. Haggar, don't change. Read more
These are really comfortable pants. After trying Dockers, Haggar's Repreve, Kenneth Cole and Louis Raphael, I have to say that these fit me the best. I'm normally a 33x30. I'm 5'9" and about 175 lbs. In all pants, 32" waist is impossibly too tight and in most pants 34" waist will really bunch at the waist with a belt. Dockers were way too loose in the hips. Surprisingly Haggar's Repreve series was too loose in the hips. The Kenneth Coles and Louis Raphael were too tight at 33"waist and too loose at 34" waist. I wanted these pants to wear with or without a blazer. So, I want smooth, straight lines through the hips... no bunching in the crotch or knees. These hang really nicely. They feel very loose in the hips but the crease is strong which helps to keep them from flaring out or bunching. The material feels really nice. It's Winter now, and these feel great outside. I haven't noticed static cling yet, but it's early in Winter, so I don't know if this will be an issue. I can tell that these will feel great in Summer as well. They're a little longer than I expected, but I like the length... 30" length hits about 1/4" above ground at my heel (barefoot). For reference, the length from center of my belly button to ground (barefoot) is 41.5". I tend to wear the top of pants at about 40" above ground (barefoot). The waist is perfect for me without expanding, but I'll probably enjoy the expandable feature during the holidays. I've bought these in light kacki, tan (tan kacki) and dark gray. My only slight complaint is that the material is really plain. I would have preferred a little vertical striation in the gray pair to add a little "interest". But, for the fit, feel and price I'm thrilled with these pants. Read more
To begin, first of I'm a college student, and recently nailed a job as a security guard. Therefore, the job requires some walking around, and I don't have easy access to a dry-cleaners. I'm a skinner guy and was unsure about buying clothes....let alone pants online. I'm 6'3" and comfortable and long fitting pants don't come around very easy. When these came in the mail, they FIT PERFECTLY! The size I ordered was my regular waistband size, but it does have the nice elastic strap for an extra snug or more loose fit. These also have a perfect break over my dress shoes, It's about a full break over my shoes which I was looking for. So far I've had these pants for 4 months, and use them for 40 hours a week, with 1 to 2 washes a week they still look brand new, no fading I just follow the washing instructions as provided and hang dry them to ensure no shrinking or fading. If I drop a piece of food or get a dust spot on the pants, it comes out with a little water on a paper towel and they look good as new. Also these pants are super cool, when I'm walking around for my rounds and inspections, I can cool down super easily in these. I highly recommend these pants for their price and durability. Read more
These expandable waist paints are absolutely wonderful. I'm going to assume that if you're in the market for expandable waist pants you're far more concerned with the comfort than the general style or cut. While these pants do have a nice, slim style to them, with a soft sheen to the fabric, their comfort level is through the roof. The first few times I wore them the waist was perfect, right from the package. I felt they ran a tad longer than what I expected and ended up returning these for a slightly shorter size. If there was one complaint with the fit though, it would be that the groin / inseam area felt slightly tight. This however quickly changed, as they loosened up and now are just great. I would have preferred if they would have a two button system with a larger overlap for the latches, but I'm really just nitpicking. The true reason to buy these is the expandable waist. As compered to some other expandable waist pants I've purchased, these have an excellent degree of stretch, and the pockets are well designed so as to not bulge when the pants begin to reach their more maximum size. As someone who loathes dressing up everyday for work, these pants make that necessity far more bearable. Read more
