This review is for the Hager men's sports shorts. I ordered these shorts because spring is just around the corner. I wanted something that I could wear casually as well as in a more formal setting. These Hager shorts fit the bill perfectly. Hager has offered quality products for many years and I was familiar with their products and knew I would be happy with this choice. I inspected the shorts and found the stitching was straight and high quality. Overall the finish and fit was perfect. What I really like about these shorts besides the way they look is the way they feel. The material is 100% polyester and has a smooth soft finish. They are lightweight and breathable which will provide me the comfort I'm looking for. A unique feature of these Hager shorts is that they are made out of a portion of recycled polyester materials. It was also noted that 12 water bottles were recycled into each pair of shorts. I think that's an awesome idea. The fit was true to size and looked good. The 9-in in seam was perfect falling just a couple inches above my knee. And the wide elastic inside waistband provides comfort. These shorts are very comfortable and made from great quality material. The fabric feels lightweight, breathable, and has a nice stretch that makes them great for travel or everyday wear. These Haggar Sport Travel Performance shorts have a great feel to the fabric and a really comfortable fit that works well for warm days. I own a lot of Haggar products (shorts, pants, suits), this is the first product I haven't been fully satisfied with. The fit in the waist is perfect, however the fit below the waist is awkward. I found these to be uncomfortablely snug below the waist line. I wanted to like these, but as a Haggar loyalist, these just weren't for me. Read more
These shorts are perfect for active men and very functional design including 4 pcokets. They fit well and are true to size and have a versatile 9 inch inseam that allow you to bend and stoop without the fabric pulling over the knees. The straight fit is classic and the super flex waistband is perfect for my slim frame. The plain front fits perfect and removes the bulk that pleats can create in appearance. These are high quality for maximum comfort and the style is perfect for casual wear. Overall, a great pair of shorts, with a great fit due to the moisture wicking stretch fabric, 4 pockets and the fabric is made from recycled water bottles. These are what I call dress shorts. They can be used anywhere, of course, but they are meant for polo shirts and short-sleeve tuck-in button-downs more than hiking or a day at the beach. The build quality is good. There were no flagging threads or cheap stitching that I could see. The color is as advertised. I don't really care for the perma-press slick feel of the fabric, but to each their own. Read more
These are a performance men’s short, so they are a more “slick” woven fabric that has some give and stretch, so are great for more tailored casual events such as golf. They do fit true to size around the waist and are quite comfortable with the interior soft elastic waistband detail. While it says a 9” inseam, I measured the inseam at 8 1/4”. It has a zip fly with waistband button closure. There are front slit pockets and back welt pockets. The only negative about these is if you have athletic or muscular thighs, the leg opening is more narrow, so they might not be there right fit for you.
