This is my second Haiku bag. The first one was so well made, I decided to return to the brand. This backpack is very cute, love the contrasting color on the inside. I also like that you can turn it from a shoulder bag into a backpack. It is true that the metal part used to make it a backpack can dig in your shoulder, but I simply adjusted the straps unevenly when using it as a shoulder bag and that solves the issue. Really like this brand of bags. I saw this bag at a local shoe store and had to have it. I especially like that it converts from an over shoulder bag to a backpack. I do wish the main pocket was a little bigger, but I knew the size when I got it. Read more

This bag is perfect for my use. I often want to carry a water bottle and a narrow tea/coffee thermos. It is super durable and the pockets are easily accessible. I wish it had a cute embroidered flower or something on front like the black option does, I'm not sure why Haiku doesn't have that on the pretty color option bags, only on the plain black option. Arrived on time in excellent condition… I had previously used another purse from this company and enjoyed all the areas (large and smaller ones) , some had zipped areas and some were open) one on the inside where access is well protected by the ‘Flap’ which comes over the opening area of the purse and latches on the outside. The two side pockets are open and an excellent size for carrying a bottle of water! In addition to this being configured to use as a shoulder purse it can be used as a ‘backpack purse’ however I haven’t tried it that way and for my usage think it would be inconvenient. I had a similar bag by the same company previously and it served me for several years without complaint… a couple of the pockets attached to the side that is typically covered by the top when it’s flipped down (always when using the bag) were thinner and ‘not thinking’, I place a couple of emery boards into one of the pockets in case of a ‘nail emergency’! That thin pocket obviously began to wear and wasn’t reliable for storage. Not one of my better decisions so after a couple of months I decided it was time to order another one. No complaints with this one (or the former one - other than MY failure to ‘think’!! Read more
