Overall it’s good for the price
Didn’t see any reviews so I guess I’ll write an overly detailed one in case you don’t want to drop $400 on a car cover like me! Price: 160 Size: A3 Car: 2024 Mustang GT Performance Package I needed a padded car cover because at work, it likes to randomly hail and I needed an inexpensive, portable, and quickly deployable cover to protect my car. Bodyshops never quite fix hail damage back to factory finish so I’d like to prevent it as much as I can. Quality is good, foam pad Is somewhere between 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick and the inside is some sort of felt. However, it only covers the top of the car. I think the sides will be ok with the thin cover as glancing blows of hail are less of an impact. I do wish it was just a tad bit wider because it’s just barely too narrow to cover all of the side mirrors (to be fair though, mustang is wider than most cars). Also the included straps don’t attach to the cover itself, you just tie it to a wheel spoke, throw it over and tie it to the other wheel the same way, seems like between the elastic built in band and the two straps should be enough to keep it on the car. Packing this thing away you realize just how huge it really is, but if you just fold it back into the creases, it’ll fit back in its bag no problem. Fits in a mustang trunk with plenty of room to spare. A lot of covers on Amazon look exactly like this one but this was the cheapest I could find. For less than $200, I think the peace of mind is 100% worth it. Read more
