For someone like me with naturally oily hair, I've had lots of trouble with keeping my hairbrushes clean. My hair is also so thick and strong that my hairbrushes in the past would eventually snap at the handle. I've been using this one for a long time now and it's been so excellent. It performs much better than most brushes I've tried in the past and the vents make it so easy to clean it. I no longer have to worry about water getting trapped in the brush's cushion which comes with mold growth risks. Didn’t think my old hair brush was that bad until I finally decided to get a new one. My brushing went from 15min of untangling to no more than 5min!
