This hair dryer is a wonderful option for any woman who wants to have her hair dry quickly, without frizz and without the strange electric burning smell that sometimes came with the old hair dryers. It has three different temperatures and a temperature cycling option - I'm not sure why you would want that but the hot, medium, and cold are great choices. I appreciate that it not only dries my hair quickly, but it isn't super noisy. It don't use the magnetic attachment, but I like that it is available for those who like to use it to direct the air straight at a section of hair. This dryer uses ion technology to blow dry the air. It is about the same noise level though as non-ion dryers in my opinion. Doesn't get too hot and device isn't heavy/smaller size making it easier to pack into my luggage bag. Overall good quality dryer! Read more
This brushless motor style hair dryer is wonderful! It dries my long, thick hair really fast and leaves it in healthy condition. I love the features of fast drying, light weight and relatively low noise level (58 db). It has 4 temperature settings: cool (no heat), warm (149℉/65℃), hot (191℉/88℃), and alternating cool and hot, and 2 air speeds (gentle and fast). The dryer lights up in different colors that indicate the temperature level, which is a unique and useful feature. It weighs 1.85 pounds and is easy to handle. It has a good quality power cord that comes with an attached cord tie. It has a magnetic concentrator nozzle that is great for styling hair. I love how fast this dryer dries my hair. The brushless motor dries my hair in half the time compared to my older traditional style hair dryer. Also, the alternating hot/cold setting is great for when my hair is just about dry and I want to make the finishing touches to smooth and volumize my style. Works great, looks good, is lightweight. I like that the back lights up in specific colors to indicate the heat setting and the magnetic attachment for the concentrator. The cord isn’t super long, but I don’t need it to be, so not a problem. One thing to note is that it takes a second or so after you switch it on for it to start blowing - it makes me think for a moment that it’s broken, but then it starts. This is a solid little high-speed blow dryer. While the listing claims it’s professional quality, I would not necessarily agree with that statement, but for at home use, I think it’s a great little option to add to your hair tool arsenal. This dryer is super lightweight. It has a relatively short cord, but it does include a cable management tie, which makes it great for travel. There is a high and a low wind speed that also work as you’re on off button on the back of the dryer. This list it is having four heat settings, but realistically it has two heat settings, a cool shot and a cycle setting. There’s a singular button on the back of the handle that you used to press and cycle through your options which will light up the back of the dryer, so you know which one you selected. I did not find that I was accidentally hitting the buttons and changing the settings during use, which is always good when you first pick up a new dryer. There’s a magnetic concentrator attachment included in this, but no diffuser so if you need a diffuser, maybe keep looking, but the concentrator did a nice job of giving me lift at the root and smoothing down my frizz once I was done the rough dry. I will say well I did find myself using the high heat setting. I did not necessarily find myself using the high wind speed. Didn’t really feel like I needed it. The low wind speed felt more like a medium wind speed, and did a great job of trying my hair. This blow dryer being a newer brushless style of dryer is much quieter than your old school dryers and while you would wake someone up if you were blow drying your hair in the same room with them if your blow drying your hair in the bathroom next to them, they’re not likely to hear it or have bothered their sleep. I definitely like this blow dryer and would recommend to anyone who’s interested in upgrading from their older style dryer, especially at the less than $70 price point of this right now. One small thing to mention with these newer brushless style blow dryers you have to make sure you keep the filter clean or you will burn up the motor. The filter cover is very easy to snap off. It attaches magnetically as well and this came with an included brush in order for you to clean off the filter. It’s little touches like that and the cable management tie that make an okayed blow dryer into something someone wants to brag about and recommend to others.
