5% minoxidil
I have used a variety of minoxidil products over a number of years, some made in the USA and some from China. The stuff must be doing something because my hair loss has at least stabilized, and I have a lot more hair than my brother. This is a liquid minoxidil product made in China. The instructions are confusing because they say to apply four sprays of product to the back of the scalp. But inside the box is a bottle with a glass dropper. So you can’t spray it on, but instead must apply it as drops and then massage to distribute it. The dropper is also not marked (some brands I have used have droppers marked in milliliters). Many of the Chinese-made brands that I have tried have also included a number of botanical extracts which seem to be traditional Asian remedies for hair loss or hair growth. This brand, however, only lists 5% minoxidil as an active ingredient, similar to my US brands, which suits me fine. Compared to my US-made brand, this one feels more viscous. Overall, I expect this to be similar in efficacy to other 5% minoxidil products that I have used. Read more
