Fifth or sixth time purchasing these or similar. They make excellent connections that are properly sealed. I do a lot of high amperage custom e-bike conversions. These are so fast and easy to use and unfailingly reliable. Darn cheap too! Read more
I loved these connectors. They ate easy to use and make a very nice connection. A few things to note... 1. When you cut the wires, leave enough room on one of them to slide the connector completely over the exposed wire. This is so you can physically twist or hook the two exposed ends together and prevent one side of being missed in the solder globular. Then slide the connector over the exposed wires and center the solder directly in the center. 2. After applying the connector, don't tug, pull, or otherwise create tension or compression in the wires until its cooled. Failure to do so will cause the connector casing to tear, crimp, or have the wires penetrate the soft casing. Once cool, (15 seconds) the plastic hardens and the wire is safe to move. 3. If you are making multiple connections in the se area, you will want to put something metal in between the one you are currently soldering and the ones you already did. In my case, I just place a pair of wire cutting pliers as metal backer for the one I was working on. If you don't, the heat will melt the other connectors and the wires can come loose or the connectors can stick to one another. 4. Likewise, if you male a mistake or your connection broke/failed, you can remove the connector by heating it and pulling the wires apart. Then heat each of the ends and use a pair of pliers to scrape off the connector coating. Don't touch the area you heated because melting plastic and solder will stick to your skin and burn you! These make soldering connections so easy and flawless. They are a great addition and tool where permanent connectors are needed. Read more

Delivered on time if not early so kudos for that. Did a double individual count and actually received 201 pieces not 200. Product seems well made and of good quality compared to others I've purchased in the past from another manufacturer and seller. Highly recommend seller and this product/ brand and would consider if needed again. I am sure I have more than I can use. This is a must have for automotive wire joining and wish I learned of a few decades ago. Read more
I used these to connect some two-pin connectors to Christmas decorations, and having it be a heat gun connection made it so easy. Not only are they waterproof, but they are also easy to use with just one hand holding the pieces together. I'm now confident that my electrical work is protected and will last for years to come for outdoor lighted decorations. Read more
I found a set of these on Amazon when I had to rewire our 2004 Buick Lesabre. The set came with multiple sizes, however, I found for auto wire sizes, the green ones worked and fit best. You simply strip 1/4" from each wire you wish to join together, and then guide each end into the insulator until it meets the (presumably) aluminum fitting. You then gently crimp that aluminum holding the wires in place. The next step is where the magic begins: I used a heat gun to shrink the splice down sealing both ends of the wire. One can use a torch, but since I was rewiring right above the fuel tank, so an open flame is less than desirable. They worked so well that I completely rewired about five feet of wire that powers the fuel pump and handshakes with emission sensors that detect fuel pressure in the gas tank. I had to provide this backdrop because I went back out to Amazon and found a large quantity of the size (color) that I had depleted in the kit. This type of availability of specific size splices has me sold on using this kit for nearly all my wiring needs; from small #22 gauge wires up to #6. The green ones being evaluated here are perfect for splicing #12--#16 gauge wires. Read more
