These are my favorite swim bottoms. I have a long torso and a cellulite booty and saddlebag hips (even though I work out a ton, it’s just how I’m built). So I like fuller coverage bottoms that still look cute. I’ve been buying this brand for a few years now. I tried some from other brands this summer and went straight back to this brand. The other brands were either too short in the waist or inseam, or they would dig in around the waist / butt area causing unnecessary fat folds—but not these ones! I own them in 5 colors now (hot pink, green, black & 2 blue colors) and will keep buying them. They look great, wear very well, and are nicely lined (I’ve never had an issue with them being see through). And as I mentioned the waist comes up perfectly high and doesn’t squeeze any fat around my waist and the inseam is the perfect length where they cover everything but still look stylish. Read more
I’m in my late twenties, 5’4, right on the line between regular & petite sizes. 130lbs, waist ~27in, high hip 38”, low hip 39”. Amazon recommended me a size M, but I chose a size S, in the white color, to match a blue and white bikini top from another brand. The waist is slightly loose, but definitely not the worst I’ve had—nice to actually find a high waisted pair of bottoms that go over my belly button without looking bad on my short, hourglass torso. Fits nicely and flatteringly in the hips and across my lower stomach—love the ruching/side adjustability! Paired with the Freya Jewel Cove Halter Bikini top (bra sized bikini tops are life changing!!) it gives such a cute Old Hollywood look without being over the top! I’m tempted to order in another color and size down to an XS, but I’m probably going to stick to the S for the white pair, just because white can be a little unforgiving when it comes to middle seams causing a “camel toe” effect. I haven’t worn them in the water yet, so I’m not sure if they’re sheer when wet, but they are double-layered and seem sturdy. These bottoms do not offer any compression or “control top” effect, but I wasn’t looking for that. Overall, I feel comfortable and cute in them. Mostly needed them for lying out by the pool when the kids I care for are at swim practice, and they’re definitely perfect for that! Read more
These are the best swimsuit bottoms I have ever owned! The comfort, color and size is perfect. The sturdy bottoms stay put while swimming and wearing. The functionality is another plus because while at the beach you can throw on an oversized tee and wear inside a store and not feel or look like you're just in your undies! The length is great! I ordered in white sized 2XL and they can stretch from my belly button (over mommy flab) down to my fingertips for some shorts or be converted into high rise swim bottoms. They look nice, enough that I think I could wear them as bottoms to an amusement park in the middle of a hot summer and not have to worry about my clothes getting soaked on water rides. I hope they look the same when wet...They would be nicer with a liner in the crotch, but overall, I like how comfortable they are. I've been wearing them for about an hour now after regrettably trying on multiple tummy compressing swim bottoms and am leaving a review after purchasing another pair in black. These bottoms stay up by my belly button when I sit, which is invaluable. (The tummy control one's roll down and have to be readjusted.) My thick legs have great circulation in these as well. Love, love, love everything about these bottoms- and I’m pretty hard to please! . Full coverage!. Cute vintage look front and back! Doesn’t squeeze tight around the top, so nothing spills out over top- it lays flat. I love the pattern which camouflage’s a hernia. I have on my upper abdomen.. does not add any bulk to you and actually makes me look like I have a waist- which I’m pretty straight up and down. These arrived fine and fit perfectly! Stretchy, comfortable, great length. However, I ordered solid pink, and they are definitely not that color! They are orange/coral color. Returning item because I needed it to match a top that has pink in it. I wish it looked like the photo because I would’ve kept them! Read more
