I stumbled across this on sale and bought it in black. When I plugged it in it would only charge to 99%. I called the number on the card inside the box and the woman told me to drain it then charge it again, that it might reset itself. It worked! The charge went all the way up to 100%. It was a great buy on sale and I wanted to get a gray one too but now they’re off sale, darn. So I’ll have to wait for them to go on sale again so I can get another. I want to put one in every room. Halo is a must have for any driver or any parent to give to their college student or for themselves. I have now bought 3 Halo's total, and they have come in handy for multiple occasions! Has jumped our car and our neighbors car (they now plan on getting one), my daughters car and my sons when he was camping and left his inside light on. Also used it in a power outage to charge our phones and to turn a light on in the LR and even plugged in to our reclining sofas so we could recline while we were waiting for the lights to come back on. First one did not work, but the company sent me a new one and paid for the return of the bad one, no problem. Got this to give portability to a medical device. Have not tried to jump a car with this, (thank goodness) but is great to give portability to other health and beauty aids. Love the fact that it has an a/c plug in for items without usb. Updated review at the very bottom. I haven't needed to use this as a jump starter yet but I read the bottom of it and got concerned with their warnings. What sort of super flamable material is inside that they warn to keep sparks, smoke and flame away from it? What is the point of a emergency jump starter if you can't use it outside in an emergency? I questioned buying this in the first place because it was half price with lots of not so great reviews. I will update after actually using it for a jumpstart. Update: 1/23/25: I had to use it twice today on my 2006 Honda Pilot, it was about 10° outside, the first time it started immediately and the second time with just a little hesitation. My Jump Pack was only at 75% charge, after the first jump it only dropped to 70% and an hour later I had to use it again ( I didn't drive around long enough to charge my battery) but the Jump Pack only dropped to 67%. I was already liking it just for it's outlet and other features but now I'm actually impressed. Read more
