I was pleased to discover that the "cotton blend" of this set is 94% cotton and 6% spandex. That's perfect. The knit fabric is very soft and nice. And both the shirt and shorts are well stitched. This is a very pleasing quality set, that is in a very straightforward and simple style. It's perfect play clothes for a toddler, that looks very presentable and cute. The individual pieces will also coordinate with a lot of the child's other clothes, so these pieces are also perfect for mixing and matching. We won't necessarily be using them as a set most of the time. If you get multiple sets of this same thing, they would ALL go together decently well. How easy is that to put together an outfit and get your kid dressed--even for Dad? The good news/bad news is that these have pockets! It's good because even kids like to put stuff in their pockets or put hands in pockets, but also that means that you have to double check before putting them into the wash so that whatever they stuffed in there doesn't get laundered. The color choices are all really sweet but I always gravitate to green so I had to go with that one. Blue would be my second choice. This is a really nice quality and comfortable outfit. My only complaint is it is thin, could see my son’s diaper through the material. It does however make a great pajama set and the top can be paired with nearly anything. It fits true to size and is a fair price. Ordered this item for my 5 year old grandson, whose favorite color is yellow. He was THRILLED to see an enire outfit in his favorite color! I waited to review until after I had laundered it, to see if it shrunk (it did not) or if it faded (it did not). So the washability factor is excellent. Sometimes when purchasing clothing items from Amazon, you encounter weirdly sewn spots or fabric that is a bit "off", I guess I would say, so those are things I examine when I receive Amazon garments. There was none of that with this set. The quality is excellent, even after washing. As I mentioned, my grandson is 5, and this set will fit him perfectly by the time summer arrives. This brand never disappoints! Very good quality material. Soft, durable cotton feel and fits true to size. The sleeves are a bit baggy so if you’re not fan of that look maybe not the best set, but it looked adorable on my little guy.
