I got the 10 cup uncooked version, and overall it’s a good rice cooker. It looks nice on the counter, the size is perfect for family meals, and it’s easy to clean. The non stick pot and the steam basket are super convenient. The rice comes out pretty good, fluffy and not sticky, and the “keep warm” feature works well without drying it out. The only thing is that it takes longer to cook than I expected. It still gets the job done, but I feel like I spend more time waiting compared to other rice cookers I’ve used. It’s a decent product and works as described, but I’m not sure I’d buy it again just because of how long it takes. Read more

I absolutely love this Hamilton Beach Digital Rice Cooker! It’s so easy to use and makes cooking rice a breeze. The programmable settings are super convenient, and I can set it and walk away while it cooks perfectly every time. The included steam and rinse baskets are a fantastic bonus — I can steam veggies or fish while the rice cooks, which saves so much time. The stainless steel design looks sleek in my kitchen and is easy to clean. This rice cooker is compact but cooks plenty — perfect for meals for my family. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy, efficient, and versatile rice cooker! Read more

Tried this out today and I mostly love it. I cooked two cups of white rice and it was pretty painless. Fill the measuring cup that's included twice, and add two cups of water. hit a button and walk away. I wasn't really paying attention, but I think it was done in about twenty minutes. When it finishes cooking it will switch to a warming cycle that lasts for twelve hours. So you really don't have to worry about it sitting too long or overcooking. My only complaint is the readability of the rice measuring cup, and the cooking container. The measuring cup doesn't seem as important. One cup makes one cup of cooked rice; good for a one person meal. However, the cooking container has lines embossed in it for how much water to add but the marks and text are simply indented in the metal with no paint to make it readable. I have bad eyesight and it's practically useless to me. I actually paid no attention to the markings and just measured two cups in a measuring cup. It's not a big deal, but I just wish it was more readable. It would make it just a little easier to use without having to grab a measuring cup. I could just take it to the sink to fill. Overall, I'm very happy with the cooker. The quality of the rice seemed much better than I usually get from instant rice on the stove. Read more

Needed a larger rice cooker, so selected this one. We had the same brand, but smaller. The machine is strong in design. Made a large amount of rice. Had left overs to store for other dishes. Rice tasted good, and each grain on the first time use came out as individuals and not stuck together nicely. But like normal did stick together as it sat. Might been wife, but could have used a slightly bit more water over all when cooked. Hard to say if it was her, or she went by the directions given with machine. Read more

I purchased this product hoping to finally make rice that’s edible and not overcooked—and it delivered! I also wanted to see if it could really cook grits and oatmeal. I tried both for my nephew, and he loved them. It was so easy! Last night, I tested it with a yellow rice that I always struggle to cook on the stove, and it was a total lifesaver. This is honestly the best rice cooker in the world, and I would definitely recommend it! Read more

I'm just now getting around to using this item. I did 6 hard boiled eggs. I know, I added one to the middle to make it six. I have misplaced my user guide so I added 2 cups of water. I'll probably add 1.5 next time. The eggs are boiled to a perfection. They did break open a little but the yoke is still awesomely cooked. I think it was due to the extra water. They are actually steaming and not boiling. I think mine did both haha! I'm getting ready to do some brown rice. I would recommend this item. Nice, simple, easy, and fits anywhere due to it's size.
