I couldn't wait to use this cleaner as soon as I received it. My range hood is thick with oil, and I have two cats, and there are hairball stains on the sofa that they left behind that I couldn't get out. This cleaner is really powerful. The media could not be loaded. I've never owned one of these steam cleaners and I wanted to try one and see how it goes. This product has a nice design and the compact size works out well. The main hose comes attached and you need to ensure it's threaded on in a secure manner. The power cord is a decent length and due to the power draw, I wouldn't recommend using a long extension cord unless it's a heavy duty model. The folding handle works fine and the top panel has the on/off soft touch button as well as a plus/minus to adjust the strength. The water tank is filled from the top which should be obvious but it wasn't to me initially ;-), since there is a black warning label and that's actually a rubber stopper where you fill the tank. The tank also has a drain plug on the bottom. As you can see from the pictures, there is an assortment of accessories that come with the product. The quality of these accessories and the product overall is pretty good but not great. I mention that since the attachments connect with a push and turn and while I was using the product, I must of pushed or leaned the high pressure wand with brushes against something and it popped off! Your immediate reflex is to grad it and put it back on, but you must exercise caution due to the high pressure and temperature steam, even with the protective gloves. Simply, turn-off the unit and re-attach. I think the cloth like sock is intended to stretch over the wide window cleaner with squeegee and intended to use to steam clothing. I used the product initially on our gas stove top. It wasn't terribly dirty but did have a lot of grease etc and I wanted to see how it worked out. Please see the video and the pictures. Overall, it worked out fairly good and since the first time using the product and filming at the same time, I wasn't the most thorough in my approach but in the end, it did a good job. There was still some areas that I could have spent more time with, but, it was good enough for now. The unit did heat up very quickly, perhaps 15seconds or so and then immediately will produce hot steam so be aware how you are pointing the wand. I think, but couldn't be that sure how much influence the different levels had, perhaps it was a bit more intense at the highest setting. The water tank seems to last a long time. I didn't really keep track but after spending some time on the stove (maybe only 10min or so), it really hardly used much water. I will also plan to use this to attempt to clean the engine compartment on my truck since I have some mud from off-roading that never got 100% removed. Bathroom shower/grout is next and I'm sure this will work out great. Overall, the product is decent quality and really does work for your big jobs. A few quirts like I mentioned above but overall, I'd recommend this product. Read more
