Dried out my lips quickly
I am a lip balm junky. I keep them all over my house, my car and at work. I always have one on me. Once in a while I do go for lip gloss for something a bit different, but I try to stick with ones that are hydrating. This one seemed to offer just that. Unfortunately, it didn't deliver. I was a bit concerned that due to the color, it would stain the lips with a darkish tint. Luckily, that didn't happen. What did happen though was a dryness that was noticed just minutes after application. The glossiness disappeared quickly and left my lips feeling uncomfortable. There was no redness or anything like that. Just dry. I tried it again later and got the same result. It's like it sucks all the moisture away. I quit using it. It's non-sticky like they claim, and yes it is vegan and cruelty free, which is great, but if you are someone who is looking for hydration, keep looking. Read more
Easy application, good tint, lip moisturizer with colour, soothes dry lips
This HANDMADE HEROES 100% Natural Vegan Lip Oil comes in a package with 3 with colours:-sugar peach, sweet beet and caramel chestnut. All 3 shades have a expiration date of 6/2026. I have included a picture with the ingredients. All 3 shades have the same ingredients except for the last 2 lines that have some variation due to different colours. I have only included the ingredients for the sugar peach. These lip oils can easily be worn on their own or can be worn on top of another lip colour to add a glossy shiny look. I have included a picture of me wearing all 3 colours. The colour on my lips does not look as colourful and bold and that is because I chose to not put them on as thick and I blended them in. By applying another layer I could have gotten them closer to the colour in the listing but I rarely use lip colour and felt it would be too dramatic. 🤣 These go on easy and have a larger applicator than I am used to. All of my lip glosses have a smaller wand. I prefer this larger wand although it took a bit to get used to it. I find application easier to apply. Read more
