This was a huge help after I broke my clavicle and had surgery to repair torn muscle and tissues, and to insert a plate and screws to stabilize the break. I thought this was going to be great because it seemed sturdy. Yet less than 2 months of occasional use, the connector between the pole & the base’s threads snapped. When we looked at it to see how it broke, you could see where it snapped but when you tried to put it together (my husband welds so was checking to see if he could salvage my money) you could see it was a clean break yet the threads didn’t touch everywhere. Also there were no pieces that came off other than the piece on the pole & the rest in the base so it was just shotty craftsmanship from the factory. Sadly NOT WORTH THE MONEY for less than 60 days of occasional use. Lastly; this stand had been in one spot since I got it but I decided to move it over a few feet & seems like the bottom plate is just TOO HEAVY for the poor excuse for a connector screw to handle.
